No, Adman, I did not run away from the Philippine Atheists Forum. As I said to Akuma Tennou, I was in the Philippines in May (2012-05) and when I came back, I have been tied down to this forum. There is more participation here than over there. Later, I will come back there.

You are assuming that the predictions of the Holy Spirit that the 2012 Olympic Games will not be held because of a world war that will start on a Wednesday in the middle of this year from the Philippines will not happen. I assure you, they will happen. We have passed one of the four Wednesdays without the war happening yet. We still have 07-04, 07-11, and 07-18.

I will be here even after 07-18. What will you do if you survive the nuclear holocaust and His prophecies come true? Will you believe in Him?

I thought, only God is in each person. Therefore, it is not only God who is in a person but also those who are with God.

He said that God is in each of us and also in us is the Devil.

May I recommend *Season 3, Episode 95 of The Twilight Zone. Theodore Bikel does an awesome acting turn in a story called "Four O'Clock". His character keeps records of all sorts of transgressions of people, reporting them and trying to get them thrown out of their jobs. He then decides that he's not making enough impact that way, so what he's going to do is shrink all the evil people in the world to two feet tall - at four o'clock that afternoon. The last scene, as most of the sci fi geeks around here can tell you, has only him being shrunk.

Well, I just finished watching the US Olympic gymnastic trials last night, and I'm looking forward to seeing those boys and girls compete. Same with Michael Phelps, who has qualified for eight events AGAIN (although I doubt he plans to go for gold in all eight of them; be interesting if that happens though!). I still haven't seen anything definitive that lends any credence to your predictions, PeaceCrusader; no evidence of a two hundred million man strong Chinese army, no indications of major cyber attacks; in short, nada. Your so-called Holy Spirit better step up the agenda; we're less than a month away from the games. Chop chop!

I can see where you've made your error here. The bible is just fiction, and there is no spirit as an animating force. Because you think that there is such a thing, it means you are more easily conned by a woman putting on voices claiming to channel these mythical spirits.

eta - I've got tickets for some of the boxing and gymnastics finals, so I'll be enjoying the Olympics first hand.

Do dogs have souls too? They're not just soil; they move. So do halibut, slugs, okapi, kangaroos and fleas. Do they all need souls to make them move around?
