Ed Rob Menard's FOTL Claims

And isn't he legally restrained from offering legal advice, or is that not "practicing law"?
The court order against him is only in effect in British Columbia, so it depends where "Steamy Piles" is located. Last we heard, Menard is still in Ontario.

Who is the lead officer here I asked, while in cuffs. One guy stepped forward and said he was, so I arrested him on the spot. He laughed, I told him I was serious, he laughed and walked away. He stopped and walked back and asked if I was a freeman. I said "oh yeah" followed by you are under arrest for failing to identify yourself as a peace officer, failure to prove a claim, trespassing, gross negligence and conspiracy to commit fraud, fraud and breach of the public trust. I read him his Miranda right as best as I could recall them and instructed him to relief himself of his firearm and surrender himself into custody of an attending constable. This time all the other cops laughed except the arrested guy and a uniformed Hindu guy with a very slick low turban, he knew I was being very serious and dragged the arrested cop behind my van where I could not see or here them.

I loved this paragraph in particular. Not just because it put me in a fit of hysterical laughter, but also how ridiculous it is. Not the events in and of themselves, but the way he describes and interprets them. That line at the end implying that the Hindu cop arrested the lead officer, for example. I can only wonder why this hero didn't immediately put a stop to the obviously unlawful arrest of our freeman.

Cripes don't these guys ever learn?

Pretending that the cops haven't identified themselves is exactly the sort of thing that got Brian Alexander in such hot water in Kamloops years ago.

When the cops stopped him for speeding he locked his van's doors, rolled up the windows and called the emergency line telling the operator he was being kidnapped by people he didn't recognize.

Needless to say nobody was amused when the emergency service officers scrambled out to the scene only to find the cops already there and a kook barracked in his freeman slogan covered van.

So why on God’s earth does Steamy Piles think the ruse is going to get him anywhere now?

Could it be that the poor soul is playing to the only audience (i.e. the freeman cult) that will pay him any mind?

And there on the WFS forum is our boy, Bobby Menard, eggin’ the poor fool on!

Well, this is the fellow who, based on his comments about having problems with CRA, lives in Canada, but then goes on to say he tried to recite the cop's "Miranda rights".

I suspect seeing flaws in his own plans or positions isn't really his strong suit.

I find it hilarious he is able to recite from memory all these fabulousness "charges" but can't remember 1) He's Canadian 2) Can't recite four sentences he's heard on every US police drama since 1966.

telling the operator he was being kidnapped by people he didn't recognize.
This is so incredibly dangerous, I cannot tell you.

Gee, look who dropped by to give some legal advice:

http://public.worldfreemansociety.o...l-jail-house-and-make-some-new-friends#105363

Listening to Menard's lies is what got numpty in trouble in the first place.

Yet again I am quite simply amazed at the jaw-dropping stupidity of self-proclaimed Freemen. Here we have what would have been - when dealing with sane people, anyways - a fairly routine minor level arrest (if he would have gotten arrested at all - sounds like the people he got into a physical altercation with called the police and it was his Freeman song and dance that got him arrested in the end). Even assuming the worst that he was arrested, he could have been taken in, claimed his right to a lawyer, and when it was all said and done probably got out on a fine or community service. Pretty light punishment for trying to assault the people you rent to, in my opinion.

But now look what hes done. He resisted arrest, tried to intimidate the police, caused numerous disruptions ensuring no one will do him any favors at the court house, and because hes following freeman soverign mythology he will likely end up with this being blown way out of proportion and have to pay a serious penalty or jail time.

And what is simply most amazing is that according to the Freeman wackos hes done everything right here. But how could that be? According to them when you do this whole "Are you a peace officer?" song and dance the police just back down and acknowledge your a Freeman and let you do what you want. How is it they even had the power to take him to jail? He didn't give him THE NAME! The evidence is right there, in the flesh, that NONE of this works and in fact will result in them being in more hot water than if they would have complied and acted like a sane person.

I have never in my life seen a group of people more influenced by the NEED TO BELIEVE in the face of absolute mountains of evidence against them.

The Canadian cops and courts have been so gentle and patient with Alexander that their restraint completely belies the freeman “we are being enslaved” song and dance.

These dumb arsed freemen just don’t get it!

In many places in this world calling 911 unnecessarily and endangering responders and the public will get you tased and/or pistol whipped as in: “Ah, I don’t know what happen, captain, he musta fallen down and bumped his head.”

Brian Alexander needs to thank God he’s in Canada.

Steamy Piles needs to thank the officer who, by my reading of the situation, pulled his fellow officer off to the side and calmed him down.

I think this statement pretty much sums up why this thread is still ongoing and why JB started it.

At it's safest point, FOTL-Waffle is so stupidly hilarious that it is a tremendous source of amusement. We all know that they prefer words, (using their own silly definitions of course), over action.

At it's most dangerous point you have conmen like Menard getting involved and people like Steamy Piles actually believing he's "had a win".

Google asks that I mention Lance Thatcher at this point.

I hadn't visited the WFS forums for a while. News of Menard's latest post from the desert led me back there.

Other than the awful new layout nothing has changed.
Same old posts from drug-addled paranoid schitzophrenics who can't accept responsibility for their lives and actions.

It's just a big sad bag of stupid, with extra stupid thrown in on top.
Unfortunately when Menard asks "Can I max that for you?" there will always be another complete tool to say yes.

ETA:
I just got an auto-email from DIF. I usually delete them as reading them tends to make my eyes bleed.
However to illustrate how desperate conmen like Menard and Icke are I quote this;

Silent Weapons was dated May, 1979, and was apparently found in July, 1986 in an IBM copier purchased at a surplus sale by an employee of Boeing. It appears to be one of a series of such manuals explaining how the few control the many. I can’t say for sure if it is genuine, but (a) it lays out the strategy in considerable detail and (b) what it describes is blatantly happening by the hour.

Really? This is your latest wowzer?
Truly pathetic.
Expect more tales about the IBM story soon.... almost as if they were newly discovered secrets rather than age-old myths.

There will always be a broken spanner in the toolkit.

He's even prepared a fee schedule, too. Well, let's just wait until Thursday to see what excuse Menard will come up with when Andrew here crashes and burns in court.

"You granted them jurisdiction by walking into court, of course!"

He's getting good advice:

Who else would you Bill, other than the guy who detained you. Deliver it into the record of Your Court of Record, established by You, as King. A King doesn't tolerate a bunch of goons rifling through his pockets. Get all of their names on your individual Criminal Complaints.

Meta

This will end well. :sdl:

Displaying the usual keen legal mind and finely honed sense of dramatic irony I see:

"The guy is on welfare and by default I think that makes the province responsible for his actions and liable for damages that he causes"

steamy piles must be trolling their forum, no ones this stupid in real life.
Look at this advice in another thread
http://public.worldfreemansociety.o...-confused-and-need-some-help-re-divorce#87973
Get hold of legal aid.

Get on and stay on Welfare, I hate saying this, but they will pay for everything, I hate saying that.

I am not a lawyer, and can't really give legal advise, but if it was me, I would do it simply because I would still be in the system.
I bet good old Robert is swelled with pride at what he is breeding over at WFS.

As King, he should sic the Spanish Inquisition on them. They won't be expecting that.

I like this post from Kiwi to the idiot Meta who lost everything in his quest for freedom.

http://public.worldfreemansociety.o...it-freeman-valley-nz?limit=15&start=45#105141

He is talking about Meta who lives in northern Kentucky just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati.

Meta, a prime example of the sort at the heart of radical freemanism, went ‘round and ‘round with the power and light company about non-payment of his bill and eventually had his power shut off.

Only a mild winter and the charity of others kept the poor boy from going to the freeman valley in the sky.

Guys like Meta, Keith “call me Kathy” Thompson, Brian Alexander and Steamy Piles make me wonder if there isn’t something terribly wrong with this latest crop of freeman!

We all have dealt with a freemen on web forums over the years, but this group is characterized by a level of self-delusion, misperception, anger and dysfunctionality I have never before seen in the freeman cult.

I wonder if the phenomenon isn’t simply a pre-existing group of paranoid schizophrenics, who have found a place to root in the freeman cult.

In all the brotherly advice provided by freeman not once has one of the gurus, who might profit by these folks craziness, ever suggested they get help for their obvious mental health problems.

Self-delusion is right.

There was a point on Wednesday, someplace between when the cop was refusing to ID himself and the rest of them were looting me and my home that I realized that these guys had me right where I needed them.

This guy is in handcuffs, being searched before being hauled away, and thinks he has the upper hand, "that these guys had me right where I needed them".

That looks good in a Hollywood movie script, but as a real-life policy for dealing with cops, it's somewhat lacking.
