It's going to be interesting to watch the Bond hearing tomorrow, and see ole Tugboat up on the stand again. Now, of course he doesn't HAVE to testify...but when the judge tells him: it's important he testify, that pretty much sets up the dynamic. Yep. It is sure to be an explosive Zimmerific day.

Just to clarify my own earlier comments, I meant to comment only that at the time that call took place, it does not sound like they have been much more than acquaintances. It's certainly possible that since then they have become friends, and indeed, considering the fact that GZ became one of the most despised persons on the planet after this happened, it not too hard to imagine GZ feeling grateful for any support he received and considering Frank a good friend for supporting him.

Still denying that basically the only two members of the Neighborhood Watch were friends?

My quote of someone claiming GZ will testify make plenty of sense in the context that GZ did not actually testify. I don't understand how this is confusing or controversial.
