Today, 2012-06-27, is only one of four Wednesdays. If no nuclear strike happens in the US today, then there are the other Wednesdays: 07-04, 07-11 and 07-18. I am particularly concerned about 07-04 in the US when it celebrates its Independence Day which is a national public holiday.

Yes, the Holy Spirit said middle of the year. The middle of the year from 01-01 are days 182 and 183 in a common year which are 07-01 and 07-02, and day 183 in a leap year like this year, which is 07-01. This day is midpoint of 06-27 and 07-04. So if no nuclear strikes happen today in the US, then it maybe on 07-04.

Before, when He said that it will happen in the middle of the year, I reckoned that 07-01 and 07-02 are under the zodiac sign of Cancer. I know that cancer does not refer to the disease and zodiac sign only but also to “anything evil that spreads and destroys” (The Pocket Macquarie Dictionary). So it limits my guess to 06-21 and 07-21 inclusive. Then on 2012-05-01, He said Wednesday. That further limited my choices to 06-27,07-04, 07-11, and 07-18. When He said that the 2012 Olympic Games will not be held in London, I know that the war that He said in 1986 would happen this year.

I can't speak for True Gods, but we've had at least a good dozen "True Prophets" through here in just the six years I've been around.

I believe you now that you won't run away, that's good.

What I am wondering is if you will continue to believe that it is THE Holy Spirit, a holy spirit, or even a spirit if the predictions fail to come true. I'm not making fun of you, your answers can provide insight into the nature of belief.

What I would do is settle down with my 3 days rations, as advised by the Holy Spirit, and a good book, and wait. Presumably the Holy Spirit will cause the shops miraculously to open again after 3 days.

Then I guess I'd get ready to experience a world run by women, who will now outnumber men by about 10 to 1 and presumably won't be in any mood to take any **** from any men about the way they run things, especially after the men just did such a sterling job of screwing up the entire planet.

Should be interesting.

I earlier observed that most of the clever mocking just goes right over Peacecrusader's head.

So, PC, you never replied to my post about your observation that most Christians are wrong in believing that Jesus was crucified on a Friday. How exactly does your faith in other people's purported divine revelation work? How do you know which bits of supposedly revealed truth are wrong* and which bits--no matter how ******* crazy incredible--are right?

*ETA: Even though believed by the majority of Christians today and held as true by an even greater (if not universal) majority of the faithful down through the centuries.

update: I thought I saw a nuclear missile bearing down and about to turn Peterborough into a radioactive sheet of glass, but it turned out to be a pigeon.
 
Perhaps the fires in Colorado are really a stealth nuclear attack?
