Did you know that the Friday crucifixion day that the Christian world observes is wrong? Please read http://aristean.org/wp091.htm titled “Was Jesus crucified on a Friday?”.

Summer of the Seventeenth Doll.

Because it's really important to know which day of the week is the setting for one's fairytales, isn't it?

Mind you the whole idea of Christians quibbling about which Norse god's day it was when their zombie superstar was despatched seems pretty ironic, if not downright hilarious.

It's curious that you know the New Testament is dead wrong (and even internally inconsistent) in its account of the event that is arguably most central to the Christian faith, yet you're willing to use it as the basis for prophecies about events in the 21st Century.

I am not aware that someone has copyrighted the epithet “the true God”. Could you please elaborate, like the name of the person who copyrighted it, the place, what it means, when, etc.? Who is older, the person who says he copyrighted it or the King James Version (KJV)? Why is it that there is no mark of any copyright in the KJV?

Did you know that in John 17:3, KJV, the word “true God” is there? This is what the verse says: “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

He's making a facetious use of the "first use" argument to point out that this term you hold dear ironically was used to refer to a different deity long before it was applied to yours.

I think your delusion is impairing your ability to catch nuance and subtlety (even when it's pretty flagrant!) in our mockery of your silly assertions. They're sailing right over your head.

Your source claims the Bible, the very word of your One True God (copyright infringement noted), is wrong. Some god, can't even get men to write down the right date and keep it straight through all of the edits, rewrites, and translations.

It is almost as if men made up the story and kept changing it to suit their purpose. Funny that.

He has claimed he will. It remains to be seen how honest that is. My money is, as it always is for this kind of prediction, on "it happened, but just spiritually so you didn't notice" as the excuse. Though nuclear war, 200,000,000 member armies, cancelled Olympic games and the deaths of between 4,000,000,000 and 5,000,000,000 people are a little hard to be argued to have literally happened at a spiritual level.

ETA: Oh, and PeaceCrusader, I'm still waiting for a response to my question as to why you think I posted the half lives of certain heavy elements and what implication it has for staying inside for 3 days.

Uh-oh, PC, it looks like things in the shoal area may be cooling down:

MANILA, Philippines -- China has withdrawn its boats from the lagoon of a tiny South China Sea shoal following an agreement with the Philippines that at least temporarily eases the countries' territorial dispute, officials in Manila said Monday.

Gosh, and I was so looking forward the WWIII.

You're much too gullible. The Chinese are just being clever prior to next week's attack as they mass forces, right, Peace? :D

This old man, he plays 1.....

I'd watch Pearl Harbor. The last Asian power that feinted towards the Philippines was heading for the mid-Pacific!

31 Days and Counting Down...

And tomorrow's another dreaded Wednesday. What are the Chinese up to?

Hold on, tomorrow's Tuesday...

Oh, I see. Thailand. :D

Did the Holy Spirit specify a time zone, Peace?

(BTW, when I lived in Singapore a few years ago I went to AdFest in Pattaya a couple of times. Is that still held there? :))

The number of the beast.

Teh Holy Spirit apparently only speaks Tagalog and has never been further afield than Labuan, so is inevitably using local time.

Please read the news in the South China Sea: http://english.chosun.com/site/data/html_dir/2012/06/26/2012062600484.html
titled “Boat Ramming Incident Reported in South China Sea”.

Please read also BBC news on China http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-18546138 titled “China morning round-up: South China Sea ructions”.

FYI, it took me eleven years (1983-1994) before I believed that the spirit who we (plural) talk to is THE Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Jesus Christ. You may read this at http://aristean.org/wp113.htm titled “From doubt to belief”. Is that being “much too gullible”?

Watch out also for Vietnam, one of six claimants to the disputed resource-rich Spratly Islands on the South China Sea.

Yeah, well, if you'd be more careful with your reading you'd have realized I wasn't referring to you.

But now that you mention it, yes, you are way too gullible in believing the lies that your supposed "holy spirit" is telling you.

What will your response be next Wednesday when no Chinese attacks happen, or on July 27, when the Olympics start as planned?

Will you be as critical of your "holy spirit," I wonder?

ETA: And what is this "plural" crap you keep repeating? You think being able to fool more than one person is proof of anything? I'm an amateur magician, and I can easily fool a roomfull of people. What does that make me?

3 Blind Mice

Those articles don't exactly rate this situation as anything more worrisome than "Tense" status (that's "Harvest Wheat" on the polychromatic warning scale - two levels below "Yellow") and this morning's news clearly says China has withdrawn their ships from the area. Plus, the Deadly Ramming Incident is being investigated and it was apparently a Hong Kong fishing boat, and equally apparently, unintentional. That's in your very links. Aren't you beginning to feel a bit silly about promulgating all this nonsense, by now? You merrily link to stuff that gives no support whatsoever to what your prophet is predicting.

Oh, and since you and Teh Spirit don't seem to be aware of anything outside of your immediate vicinity, one should point out that Viet Nam shares a border with China. If China and Viet Nam get into a fight, it ain't gonna be nuclear. China's not about to nuke a territory on its border! (Unlike your Spirit, they actually understand the ramifications for such.)

Weren’t you referring to me? Please read what you wrote on post #648.

Yes, we will see what will happen in the next four Wednesdays (06-27 to 07-18) and the cancellation of the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

I put in parentheses “plural” to emphasize that I am not alone in hearing what the Holy Spirit says. There are other people present like in http://aristean.org/transcript032.htm titled “The New Jerusalem” wherein Anita Pasion, Anita Perez, Benigno Santos, myself were talking to the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 14:1 says, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.” This is repeated in Psalm 53:1 which says, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.”

You load 16 tons and whadda you git?

PeaceCrusader,
If someone quotes a post (as Adman did re the post from SezMe), the line, e.g. "You're much too gullible", is addressed to the person being quoted. He was being facetious and added your name as a bit of a teaser. But no where was he saying that you're gullible. (Not that that would be an incorrect assumption. I just thought that you might want to understand how the forums operate.)

(BTW, when I lived in Singapore a few years ago I went to AdFest in Pattaya a couple of times. Is that still held there? :))

Missed this. Yeah, it was held in March, just before we got here. Local press coverage here is a joke, but the AdFest people report a turnout of about 1200 people. Seems moderate by big venue standards but pretty good for Pattaya, I'd say.

Precisely. Also note the question mark after your name. It denotes, in this case, a rhetorical question directed at you. Please don't reply to it.

PeaceCrusader:
Perhaps you've missed it the first two times I've asked, so I'll ask a third time. If you intend not to answer, perhaps you'd do me the courtesy of saying so.

Why do you think I posted the list of half-lives of heavy elements and what bearing does it have on your suggestion that we should be prepared to stay inside for 3 days and nights?

Sorry if I was not able to answer your question straightaway. There are a lot of questions and I just select those that I can answer or comment immediately.

The Fukishima Daiichi nuclear disaster happened on 2011-03-11 but until now, people are still catching fish that have high level of caesium. Iodine-131; caesium-134, produced only by nuclear power plants and weapons; and caesium-137 are still being detected in the US, Canada, and Austria. Their half-life may be years but people may not die immediately from their effects. Rice has also been contaminated and will be tested before they are marketed.

This disaster is only one nuclear plant and maybe a preview of what is to come. Just imagine how much fallout would be produced when the nuclear bombs explode. That is why, the Holy Spirit recommends that we should have at least three days and three nights of food to eat (canned goods will do) and not go out at all when the surroundings will be enveloped by smoke which will smell gas and is poisonous. Maybe after this period, the smoke may not be as harmful anymore. Don’t leave your pets outside if you care for them.

This coming nuclear war will be a calamity for mankind. This may be the reason why the population will decrease instead of increasing. It will be not like now where there is an explosion of population.
