No. Not even slightly. If a false god had the power of prophecy, isn't that likely to be exactly what he would claim in order to try to convince you that he's the true god? As I said before, you could easily be being suckered by evil spirits here (assuming I grant the hypothesis of the existence of true/false gods and evil spirits and whatnot, which I'm doing for the sake of argument).
Jesus was a terrible prophet. His most famous prophecy (Matt 16:28: "Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.") utterly failed to come true. If your criteria for the "one true god" is accurate prophecy, I suggest you may be looking at the wrong religion, and some comparitive religion studies might do you good. The Greeks had ambivalent and ambiguous prophets, but the Norse/Germanic tribes seemed to have some pretty decent ones. Perhaps you should consider worshipping Odin.
