I got lost as to why this is important ?

"Flashlight on"

vs

"Flashlight on ring"

Different statements in the discovery. Both excerpts posted earlier.

As related to whether or not SPD would have known GZ was in a vehicle.

It's a keyring flashlight. If you remove the keys, the ring is still there, attached by a chain to the flashlight.

So I say the flashlight is not on the ring. They keys/key fob are on the ring.

It's probably not important.

So... you think that when someone says "do have any estimate" they are referring to an actual physical document of some sort?

Seriously?

Yes, seriously, he could have been asking for a document. She answered the question truthfully as asked. She said she didn't have one. He didn't specify the format of the information he was seeking, he just asked if she had it. She said no, she didn't have it.

He bungled the question. Maybe that is why Corey got herself a new ADA.

That order revoking bond is very scary for GZ, imo.

It's the most worrying thing I have seen yet for GZ's chances of staying out of jail.

When the judge says the evidence of murder 2 is strong against you...I think you're in trouble.

When he also says you don't respect the law or the judicial process, your chances really look dim.

I think I will now throw out the idea of any dismissals before trial from this judge.

You aren't really serious, are you? If you are then any kind of meaningful discussion with you is a pipe dream.

Well, this is pretty dang strong language:

Judge Lester..."this is a serious charge for which life may be imposed; the evidence against him is strong; he has been charged with one prior crime, for which he went through a pre-trial diversion program, and has had an injunction lodged against him"

Zimmerman 'does not properly respect the law,' judge says in order revoking bond : http://articles.orlandosentinel.com...ond-decision-jailhouse-phone-george-zimmerman

The judge who revoked George Zimmerman's bond did so after he determined that it was "apparent" that Zimmerman's wife had lied under oath, and clear that Zimmerman "does not properly respect the law."
Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester revoked Zimmerman's bond on June 1, but his written order was filed Monday. In it, Lester lays out his rationale.

Agreed. What a steaming pile of sophistry.

And of course, none of the Jeralyn Superfans can explain away this lie:
De la Rionda: Okay. And you mentioned also, in terms of the ability of your husband to make a bond amount, that you all had no money, is that correct?

Zimmerman
: To my knowledge, that's correct.

There is a phrase for what ya'll are doing, I just don't remember what it is. It involves you thinking you know what he is asking for, so even if he didn't specifically ask for it, you fill in the blanks and expect Z's wife to do the same.

What is that called?

Clearly, this judge doesn't know the law. Somebody should send him a link to Jerlayn's site so he can have it explained to him by The Smartest Lawyer in the World.

Yowie Kapowie!

Lester smacked him and Lying Shellie up good.

Excerpt from Judge Lester's order....

There are no blanks to be filled in. He asked for an estimate. That he didn't specify what form that estimate should take means any estimate would suffice.

If I asked someone if they had a dog, and they said they didn't have a dog, but later it turns out they did, they can't claim not to have lied because I didn't specifically ask if they had a brown dog.

And hey, while you're dishonestly parsing words in some half-assed attempt to deny reality, what's your explanation for this lie:

:D

I'm guessing Her Highness, the Jerlayn, is in ababbba de abba de abbbbeddpppphhft mode right about now.

I don't know why people think she's some kind of genius. Every time I read her blog she sounds like a thin skinned wanker.

She deletes nearly anything she doesn't agree, barks at those who even dare question her authOriTEE! and her rationales are the most twisted pretzel logic I've come across in a while.

she just goes on and on with her lies:

O'MARA: Are you of any financial means where you could assist in those costs?

S. ZIMMERMAN: Not that I'm aware of.

Order Revoking Bond

Among these factors [weighing whether bond is appropriate], the only ones that heavily weigh in [Zimmerman's] favor are that he turned himself in upon the issuance of the original warrant and has kept the authorities abreast of his current location. There are several factors that weigh against his release: that this is a serious charge for which life may be imposed; the evidence against him is strong; he has been charged with one prior crime, for which he went through a pre-trial diversion program, and has had a prior injunction against him. Most importantly, though, is the fact that he has now demonstrated that he does not properly respect the law of integrity of the judicial process. Based upon these factors, this Court finds that revocation of the bond is appropriate.

Lester's scolding aside, the court will have to grant bond at the new hearing - though probably at a substantially higher amount.
