wow.
I never knew Germany doesn't exist.
that must be a real shock to germans. Who's going to let them down easily?
And how come all those Confederate States are still on the maps of America?
I'm starting to think DOC might not have thought this all the way through.
Think of it as practising in the nets for the day when you might have to face up against a real apologist.
It comes as a shock to me too - I just spent two weeks there....
Only if it was burned in 1864. Otherwise it exists but the city doesn't. Or so one gathers from DOC.Hmmm, and Atlanta was burnt. Holy crap! Why did no one tell me I was living in a thriving but imaginary city? Is the world's busiest airport also an illusion?
start time at 50 seconds

I guess that's why they accepted the authority of Nebuchadnezzar. You get to survive and suffer no more damage from him. And it's logical to assume that a guy that can destroy Jerusalem could do some serious damage in 13 years on Tyre.
From Wiki on Nebu.
After the destruction of Jerusalem, Nebuchadnezzar engaged in a thirteen year siege of Tyre (585–572 BC), which ended in a compromise, with the Tyrians accepting Babylonian authority.
In my book if you accept the authority of an invading army, you lost, and your nation as you knew it is no more, no matter what name you give it.
How can France possibly say "Hi!" or anything else? It ceased to exist not merely once but twice in the past two centuries. First in 1871 in the Franco-Prussian War, and not content with that, this non existent country fought two wars with Germany, becoming doubly non-existent in 1940.France says "Hi!"
France says "Hi!"
Don't even get me started on that one. But interestingly, even as I write this, my wife's on the train from Mechelen (Flanders) to Paris (France). If neither of these regions in reality exists, she's got serious problems. But when she gets back I can ask her if she was visiting places or voids. And a big hi from Flanders, which according to Doc's reasoning has ceased to exist many times in the past.
