To be fair, the castle there is half-dead.
It wouldn't have been if you hadn't looked at it.

Tyre survived a 13-year siege by Nebuchadnezzar
I guess that's why they accepted the authority of Nebuchadnezzar. You get to survive and suffer no more damage from him. And it's logical to assume that a guy that can destroy Jerusalem could do some serious damage in 13 years on Tyre.
From Wiki on Nebu.
After the destruction of Jerusalem, Nebuchadnezzar engaged in a thirteen year siege of Tyre (585–572 BC), which ended in a compromise, with the Tyrians accepting Babylonian authority.

In my book if you accept the authority of an invading army, you lost, and your nation as you knew it is no more, no matter what name you give it.

No, because a nation that is no more can not be rebuilt (because it doesn't exist), only it's memory exists. So you agree that the prophecy has not been fulfilled.

So I guess the nations of Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg ceased to exist and couldn't be rebuilt after May 1940? The state I live in is only a memory? You've got a pretty strange logic there.

I see my higher power as being within. In other words a voice in my head that says, "No! Don't take the DOC-bait! No, don't take it, really! No, don't -- oh hell, too late!"
Pointless good times are the bestest good times.
And Japan still has an emperor.Actually, Tyre only accepted Nebuchadnezzar's overlordship, but they continued to have their own kings:.

I would have to say yes. And I think it was highly detailed with the fish net part.DOC, was the prophecy about Tyre fulfilled? YES or NO?
