Richard Gage Blueprint for Truth Rebuttals on YouTube by Chris Mohr

The counter argument is:

NIST and Chandler know what are doing and FEMR is blowing smoke.

The NIST data suffers from the following (non-exhaustive) series of technical issues, each of which reduce the quality, validity and relevance of the data in various measures...

  • NIST did not deinterlace their source video. This has two main detrimental effects: 1) Each image they look at is actually a composite of two separate points in time, and 2) Instant halving of the number of frames available...half the available video data information. Tracing features using interlaced video is a really bad idea, especially for features changing vertical position. I have gone into detail on issues related to tracing of features using interlaced video data previously.
  • NIST did not sample every frame, reducing the sampling rate considerably and reducing available data redundancy for the purposes of noise reduction and derivation of velocity and acceleration profile data.
  • NIST used an inconsistent inter-sample time-step, skipping roughly every 56 out of 60 available unique images. They ignored over 90% of the available positional data.
  • NIST likely used a manual (by hand-eye) tracking process using two single pixel columns, rather than a tried and tested feature tracking method such as those provided in systems such as SynthEyes. Manual tracking introduces a raft of accuracy issues. Feature tracking systems such as SynthEyes employ an automated region-based system which entails upscaling of the target region, application of LancZos3 filtering and pattern matching (with FOM) to provide a sub-pixel accurate relative location of initial feature pattern in subsequent frames in video.
  • NIST tracked the *roofline* using a pixel column, rather than an actual feature of the building. This means that the trace is not actually of a point of the building, as the building does not descend completely vertically. This means the tracked pixel column is actually a rather meaningless point on the roofline which wanders left and right as the building moves East and West.
  • NIST chose an initial trace location which precluded starting the trace before the East Penthouse had already descended (as the East Penthouse obscured their trace location). Consequently they no way of gathering early motion data, or quantifying long term noise levels.
  • NIST used the Cam#3 viewpoint which includes significant perspective effects (such as early motion being north-south rather than up-down and yet appearing to be vertical motion). It also means that each horizontal position across the facade requires calculation of a unique scaling metric, which NIST did not bother to do.
  • NIST did not perform perspective correction upon the resultant trace data.
  • NIST did not recognise that the initial movement at their chosen pixel column was primarily north-south movement resulting from twisting of the building before the release point of the north facade.
  • NIST did not perform static point extraction (H, V). Even when the camera appears static, there is still (at least) fine movement. Subtraction of static point movement from trace data significantly reduces camera shake noise, and so reduces track data noise.
  • NIST did not choose a track point which could actually be identified from the beginning to the end of the trace, and so they needed to splice together information from separate points. Without perspective correction the scaling metrics for these two points resulted in data skewing, especially of the early motion.
  • NIST performed only a linear approximation for acceleration, choosing not to further derive their chosen displacement function.
  • NISTs displacement function, if derived to obtain acceleration/time contains a ~1s period of over-g acceleration. Whilst that in itself is fine, it's at the wrong time, and in their conclusions they ignore it.
  • NISTs displacement function, if derived to obtain acceleration/time does not suggest a 2.25s period of roughly gravitational acceleration.
  • The displacement data appears to have been extracted initially from the T0 pixel column, but using the scaling factor determined for a point above Region B, further skewing the displacement data.

I'll dig you out a similar raft of issues with the Chandler data, many of which I have personally discussed with him. He's not bothered to resolve any, though of course he cannot reject any of the criticism, as it's all 100% valid.

Suggest you "get a grip" young man.

End of trace discussion. Hopefully useful to some.

For what it's worth, I appreciated your attempt to help Christopher7, even though he was incapable of understanding it and was rather rude in his dismissal of your input.

This won't earn me high popularity grades among all participants here, but: This thread is fun! :p

You're welcome. His *position* is bizarre. I find it difficult to believe that anyone could honestly be so blind to assistance, and tend to think he's just "having fun". I have better ways of having fun. I'm sure he knows I've been honestly trying to help him, but is simply utterly incapable of allowing his stance, or even his choice of words, to change. To cling rigidly to "at exactly freefall" is simply beyond stupid, and beyond help.

He's obliged to, as it's central to his version of CD theory. He can no more abandon it than a fundamentalist Christian can accept that Mary might not have been a virgin after all.

The religion here is the denior choir.

I've been getting a lot of chuckles out of it lately too. The absurd to bizarre denial arguments are quite laughable and getting more so.

An explosive that creates plenty of molten iron in the vicinity to melt the columns? Clever stuff indeed.

Hmmmm, lemme see now ...... mass of steel to melt is .... specific heat of steel .... melting point .... thermal conductivity ..... rate of heat loss ....

Nope, you're talking bollocks.
Correction: You are talking bollocks.
This will not penetrate your denial screen but for the lurkers:

Ridicule from others is SOP here. No news in that.
Which is, I assume, why you do it so often.

By hinging one end, torque will act on the ruler in addition to the g-force, resulting in a
downward force greater than from the g-force alone.

It is very useful in illustrating the absence of resistance required for freefall.

But it fails to prove that within the WTC7, structural conditions existed anywhere that meaningfully matched your ruler trick.

It does not establish that those 'trick conditions' caused a real world "greater than FFA", specifically for the NW corner of WTC7.

MM
It's not a "trick", it's a physics demonstration. As several have pointed out, one could achieve similar results with both the official story (fire-weakened columns buckling) and explosives. Except for the several other considerations which make explosives not possible.

Indeed.

Another "trick condition" would be silent explosives planted by imaginary ninja's in a controlled demo inside a populated building twice the size of the world record.

OR

Fire could have done it.

I like how Chris7 keeps acting like the East Penthouse and everything under it doesn't count as a significant amount of the "upper portion" of 7.

I am seeing progress now with you Chris. Your ability to show self-depricating humor has finally surfaced.

Tell me again... how much do I need to squint my eyes so a curve that builds to above g and then drops back down looks like a step function?

Who is in denial here?

That is the basic problem with troofers.......they think they are experts in every field.....especially the ones that post here. :jaw-dropp

And then they castigate us for being "pseudo-scientists" who don't know what we're talking about, when many of us have experience in precisely the areas that they claim authority in.

This is a good video everyone should watch. A lot of effort went into it. It demonstrates that thermitic materials CAN melt through steel columns. Chris7 has also shown in an article he linked for us (which I don'd have at my fingertips) that thermitic materials CAN be made to have explosive qualities. IF thermitic materials were used, maybe they could bring a building down somehow.

My problems are these: Millette never found thermitic materials in the dust, the Bentham study has major problems which Ivan and Oystein point out very effectively, there were no explosive sounds of the level normally required to do a CD (and explosions are assumed to have thrown heavy steel hundreds of feet laterally, so even nanothermite reconfigured for explosive properties somehow would by definition be much more boom than hush), a thermitic demolition of three huge skyscrapers would be blindingly bright for at least 45 seconds after collapse and that brilliance could NOT be hidden once everything is destroyed and pulverized and cut apart and collapsing, huge amounts of aluminum oxide would be found and it wasn't, no triggering devices to start the CD could possibly survive the raging fires where collapse initiation happened... and this is just off the top of my head. Among the 238 reasons I laid out in my videos you will find many more. CAN thermite be configured to cut through steel? Yes. DID it on 9/11? No.

Yes, by being ADDED to other explosive materials like RDX etc.

blindingly bright for at least 45 seconds
I have asked here before, as I don't have the math skills for the task, but if thermite were used to fell the towers, I believe that the flash would have been visible from space.

C7's theory on WTC7 specifically requires that all columns be cut in multiple places over several storeys, including exterior columns. How he thinks the dazzling light could be masked I have no idea. The concept doesn't even get off the ground.

After repeatedly bringing this out, and even showing the warning displayed on a thermite grenade, only silence in response from the Truthers, except a onetime conjecture about smoke or dust obscuring the light. There is NO way I can see that smoke and dust could obscure ALL that thermite flash. If there is, the Truthers have not proven it or even tried.

This IS a main Achille's Heel to their whole thermite argument, and they run away from it like scared rabbits.

Yes, the transition to FFA was instantaneous and lasted for ~2.25 seconds.
How do you explain motion of WTC7 minutes before *release* ?

Before you respond, be aware that NIST also traced motion prior to release...

NIST and Chandler agree on this fact.
No, they don't.

Both femr & Chris,

Of course they can. Simplest way of looking at it could be the core giving the NW corner a sharp tug. It wouldn't then instantly revert to ~ffa, but would take a short time, which is what is seen in the graphs.

Wrong.

Position cannot change instantaneously.
Velocity cannot change instantaneously.

The reason that they cannot is that both would require ∂V/∂t to be infinite. (Where V = velocity & t = time).

But since ∂V/∂t = a = acceleration = F/m, then an infinite "a" requires an infinite "F". You cannot generate an infinite "F", therefore an infinite "a", an infinite ∂V/∂t, or an infinite ∂x/∂t. (where x = position).

However "a" CAN change instantaneously. Just as quickly as one can add OR SUBTRACT a force.

Exactly as quickly as you "sharp tug" is applied or removed, the acceleration associated will it will be applied AND removed.

It won't "take a short time" to return to ffa.

---

Note that, in the real world, forces are not generally applied instantaneously. Especially not in structural collapses.

But one place where they are applied & removed very, very quickly is in collisions.

Which video was this from?

1. you need to show the motion backwards in time for as long as you have it recorded in order to be sure that the motion that you see here isn't "typical". (Say of wind gusts.) You can't just show 1 or 2 time intervals of the gross motion.

2 The x & y motion are highly (inversely) correlated. That implies that the motion might be either:

a. an artifact (i.e., not real) or
b. "tethered" motion. (i.e., pivoting in 2 dimensions about a point).

What is the physical magnitude of the motion?
