Cosmo - Seismic Events

that's not what I do...Have a go at it yourself or let us know exactly what your abilities are or do you have nothing but questions? And my methods are my own.

You don't predict earthquakes? We already knew that. I am not a geologist so I won't be attempting to predict any earthquakes. My abilities? I'm a musician, I'm not bad on the guitar and fiddle. You come to a skeptic's forum and predict earthquakes and you don't expect to be questioned?

I predict that there will be an earthquake at some point in time, possibly this year.

I play a '64 Strat

Hoping for logical or any answers actually. Whatever enters one's mind and has time to type I guess...

That does seem to be your method. When can I expect a logical answer from you? How do you predict earthquakes?

Cosmo

Cosmo relates to the cosmos...planets and there relation to the rotation around the sun and alignments. Does that help?

No. Earthquakes are caused by plate tectonics. It's spelled 'their', by the way. What do you mean by their relation to the rotation around the Sun? Are the planets sometimes away from their rotation around the Sun? Do you have any evidence that planetary alignments cause earthquakes? Apart from you just saying it? Which particular planetary alignment caused the earthquakes in the Pacific today, and why did you miss it ?

What is ''cosmo''?

Cosmos refers to the Universe in its entirety, hence the subject of Cosmology, as dictinct from the rest of Astronomy. For planets and their relationship to the Sun you want Planetary Science and Solar System Physics. I know it doesn't sound as catchy, but that's just how it is.

Perhaps he means this.

What do you think of the Planet X theory?

I'll take 'Wacky Neighbors' for $200 Alex.

And the answer is: Kramer's first name.

What do you think of the Planet X theory?

Oh Heavens to freaking Murgatroyd.

A fantasy. A car going past your house has more gravitational effect on you that Jupiter and Saturn combined. Planetary alignments have no effect on earthquakes.

woo...hoo...planet X

chew it up and spit it out...funny I know. Hadn't anything better to say that day.

So do underground atomic blasts trigger any effects? Maybe if they are in the vicinity of large plates? And what about the residual cosequences of such blasts? I believe the large radioactive glass or quartz-like caverns (so I've heard) left behind by such experiments could..be of concern?
