He also shot and killed an unarmed teenager who was walking home from the 711 with candy.
I see the media brainwashed you well with that simplified narrative.

the part where he left out Zim getting his nose broken, getting pummeled on the ground, yelling for help for 40 seconds, then finally brandishing his gun as a last resort.
The whackadoodle was harrassing an innocent passer-by for no good reason other than that his ear crickets told him that this was a dangerous felon up to no good.the part where he left out Zim getting his nose broken, getting pummeled on the ground, yelling for help for 40 seconds, then finally brandishing his gun as a last resort.
Florida Statutes, Title XLVI, Chapter 787.02(1)(a).show me the law where any of that is illegal.
787.02 False imprisonment; false imprisonment of child under age 13, aggravating circumstances.—
(1)(a) The term “false imprisonment” means forcibly, by threat, or secretly confining, abducting, imprisoning, or restraining another person without lawful authority and against her or his will.
Yeah. Fatboy told the cops that he was determined not to let Martin get out the back gate.really?
really?
that makes sense to anyone else?
did you even read the RandFan link's second page where they posted his record?
4 items on his record. 2 refers to the same bar incident arrest, 2 refers to the restraining order filed against him and him against his ex-fiance.

CR-RESISTING OFFICER WITHOUT VIOLENCE
The charge was "resisting arrest without violence".
Not an assault.
Not that many people in this thread give a damn about actual facts.
And to show that they're going to bring up a charge for resisting arrest without violence?![]()
It wasn't assault, the exact charge was "resisting arrest without violence".
The charge was "resisting arrest without violence". Something you see all the time wrt demonstrations all over the country, yet I doubt you get so outraged over those identical incidents.
http://www.newjerseynewsroom.com/nation/new-black-panther-party-calls-for-bounty-on-zimmerman
The New Black Panther Party is offering a $10,000 bounty for the person who captures the Florida neighborhood 28-year-old watch captain who shot and killed Martin, an unarmed teenager, last month, according to The Atlanta-Journal Constitution.
"He should be fearful for his life," said Mikhail Muhammad, the Party’s new leader. "You can't keep killing black children."
Yeah apparently he was out drinking with a buddy, the friend was being arrested for drunk and disorderly or somesuch, and Zimmerman attempted to intervene in the arrest, pushing the cop who was making the arrest. It was a first offense, so they allowed him to avoid a judgment by signing a pretrial agreement to attend alcohol/drug "school." That's not uncommon in many states.
I haven't read any details about any other incident involving police or resisting arrest.
The domestic incident was apparently a case where his ex-fiancee accused him of violence but declined to press criminal charges. Apparently they both filed restraining orders against one another, with no further incident.
Either way he's a real upstanding pillar of society, this Neighborhood Watch captain.
pushed a cop once when he was young and drunk, and got in a fight with his ex-fiance once.
quite a history of violence this guy has.
He also shot and killed an unarmed teenager who was walking home from the 711 with candy.
There's a bit more to it than that.
The Sanford Police Chief made a statement early on that there was no reason to doubt Zimmerman's statement, and he subsequently temporarily stepped down.
Meanwhile, a special prosecutor has been appointed (I think by the state). She is still trying to prepare a case against Zimmerman, and said she should have something by the end of next week.
There is also a Seminole County grand jury (scheduled to convene April 10) continuing its efforts to determine whether or not to indict Zimmerman (a fact I understand the special prosecutor is not happy about).
I've just had a go at matching TheL8Elvis's timeline at #1674 with the full recording of Zimmerman's call to the police (here). All my additions are in square brackets:But the girlfriend's account at least is consistent with Zimmerman's police call in every point in which it can be. They both agree that Martin noticed Zimmerman watching him. They both agree that Zimmerman got out of his vehicle to follow, and that Martin ran to get away and at some point briefly "lost" Zimmerman.
The only thing that makes little sense is Zimmerman's account of what happened after he got off the phone with dispatch. The last thing we can verify is that Zimmerman told the dispatcher he would NOT be meeting the police at his vehicle when they arrived. Yet if we're to believe him, after he hung up he not only immediately changed his mind and decided to walk back to his vehicle after all, but Martin who literally seconds earlier had been running to evade Zimmerman enough to lose sight of him, spontaneously decided to double back and jump Zimmerman from behind - and in a place that's further away from Zimmerman's vehicle than the furthest place at which it seems Martin could have been out of Zimmerman's sight.
On the other hand, for Martin's girlfriend's account to be accurate, all both of them had to do was keeping doing what they were already doing for just a minute or so longer.
I might add that if Martin's girlfriend was just making things up for Martin's benefit it seems like an odd choice for her to have Martin speak up first.
Hey, can you provide info on the homicide detective that interviewed Mr. Zimmerman? I've missed out on that.
Thanks
Serious question: In your opinion or better knowledge, why no arrest?
From matching the call recording with the timeline, I think it's clear that Martin did what Zimmerman interpreted as "running" just before he called his girlfriend (Zimmerman makes no mention of Martin appearing to use a phone). It may just have been quickening of what was previously a very slow pace upto that point, as he approached the crossing/footpath.http://abcnews.go.com/US/trayvon-ma...death-recounts/story?id=15959017#.T3HiPDEgcQL
"He said this man was watching him, so he put his hoodie on. He said he lost the man," Martin's friend said. "I asked Trayvon to run, and he said he was going to walk fast. I told him to run, but he said he was not going to run."
Eventually, he would run, said the girl, thinking that he'd managed to escape. But suddenly the strange man was back, cornering Martin.
"Trayvon said, 'What are you following me for,' and the man said, 'What are you doing here.' Next thing I hear is somebody pushing, and somebody pushed Trayvon because the head set just fell. I called him again, and he didn't answer the phone."
