Amazing. Some Republican's give Dems grief about not being able to let go of the Bush the Younger administration - and then some folks can't even let go of a Presidency that ended 65+ years ago.

These people are really in a funk that FDR was elected - four times.

Hitler was more popular with his people than FDR and he was elected only on time.

Roosevelt probably was not a communist but he certainly was a traitor to his social class. He did however want the real communists in America--which at the time were hundreds of thousands--to support his “New Deal” . They did. The American Communist Party openly endorsed FDR in 1936 just like the openly endorsed Obama in 2008.

All that proves is that FDR's politics were closer to the Communists' politics than Alf Landon's. The Ku Klux Klan endorsed Reagan in 1980. It doesn't mean he supported their policies.

And total destruction. And concentration camps. Hitler didn't give a toss about the German people, towards the end of the war he was prepared to blow up the whole thing and let the people starve. Luckily, Speer did not carry out Hitler's orders.

Of course they were concentration camps. American citizens were unlawfully hunted down, forcefully removed from their property, detained without due process, stripped of their possessions including homes and family businesses, and 'concentrated' into 'camps', supposedly so they couldn't render wartime assistance to the Japanese Empire. They were beyond "guilty until proven innocent", as none of them were ever given the opportunity to prove their loyalty to the United States.

A concentration camp is a concentration camp. It's immaterial if one is a little nicer than another, or if the food is of a higher quality. The essential point is the function they serve, and on this point, U.S. concentration camps served the same purpose as Nazi Germany concentration camps - cruel detainment of innocent men, women, and children.

That's Roosevelt for you. A concentration camp-loving fascist.

That has nothing to with the topic at hand though. It seems doubtful the guy would have endorsed Reagn without the support of the majority of his fellow members...
