Once again, comments on Ketchum's/Ramey's public page at facebook demonstrate that someone is unfamiliar with journals/peer review. I wonder how that could be?
I will admit to being
almost completely 'unfamiliar with journals/peer review', but have long guessed it to be littered with any number of important and strict formalities/regimentation(s), none of which have anything whatsoever to do with Facebook™.

Go here to discuss your party plans for the day when the DNA paper comes out and proves Bigfoot exists.
Just FTR, that's a members-only-access page. I can't get to it. Regardless, apparently all those brain surgeons missed the
glaring subtlety that such a 'results party' couldn't ever be about confirmation of any Bigfoot DNA - which by the way has an infinitely higher chance of being from Bill Clinton's Errant DNA Project® than it does from Bigfoot - but is in fact a celebration of a (literal) collective stupidity.
The entire affair's adherence to
proper scientific principles/methods was no-doubt in
allusions only. What makes someone think any
non-insane 'peers' won't look at it for the obvious farce that it is? From what I've read (here mostly), even if the samples
really were from such an animal, they've been so unsophisticated and unscientific in their
supposed pursuit, any validity to it was voided long before anyone ever read a word.
Back here in the real world, about the best thing that could potentially occur is a small group of BP™ (Bigfoot People) will 'come out' to super-extra convince another larger group of BP™ that Bigfoot exists.
Sweaty:
"Wow, very cool, thanks guys. Oh and please send clear pics of a real Bigfoot ASAP."
Ketchum:
"Roger that! We're on it." <dialing Roger Patterson>
