USS Maine, Reichtagsfire (no, Kevin, it is NOT widely believed that this was started by nazis), Tonkin (no Kevin, there is no false flag here)...

Barry Jennings died "under mysterious circumstances" (what's mysterious about leukemia?)

"WTC fell into its footprint at the speed of gravity"

"Air defenses shut down"



That's Kevin Ryan's Gish gallop of lies, distortions and speculation. ;)

Huge crowd.

Ryan (clearly nervous and disjointed):

1. Muslims did not attack the US on 9-11. (surprisingly tepid applause)
2. Atta dated a stripper, ate pork and snorted cocaine.
3. Recommends Hopsicker and Griffin.
4. Half of the hijackers were reported to still be alive.
5. Usual idiotic comparison of the initial funding (later increased dramatically) for the 9-11 Commission to that for Ken Starr's investigation of Clinton in the 1990s.
6. Plan to invade Afghanistan to build a pipeline was in place before 9-11. (A pipeline that still has not been built.)
7. "Set up to fail."
8. Mineta's testimony. (Ryan gives no context to explain why the Truthers find this significant.)
9. Sibel Edmonds.
10. Insider trading/put options.
11. Robert Wright. Ryan flat-out lies and says Wright was investigating Al Qaeda; in fact he was investigating Hamas and Hezbollah.
12. Able Danger.
13. How could they have known the names of all the hijackers in less than 72 hours? (For the answer, play the "Hunt the Hijacker" game at SLC).
14. Boxcutters!
15. No hijack code transmitted.
16. My Pet Goat.
17. Rumsfeld helped outside the Pentagon rather than coordinating the US response.
18. Standard operating procedures not followed. Typically and routinely 15 minutes to intercept aircraft.

30. The people accused of carrying out 9-11 were not Muslims. (Poorly worded; of course the people accused were Muslims.

At the close, Ryan gets polite applause but not very enthusiastic or sustained; in fact the facilitator for the event has to exhort another round from the crowd which is even more restrained.

Overall Ryan's presentation, I suspect, goes right over the head of the crowd because he doesn't present a narrative that ties it together. It's like Loose Change, but without the explanation as to why all this stuff matters.

Nanothermite doesn't even get mentioned, although Ryan may be saving that for Box Boy, who is next on the agenda.
 
had a hard time getting through Ryan's presentation. Webcast keeps stalling. Thought he would bring the house down with this audience, but not very enthusiastic applause.

I really like the opening where the narrator describes himself as a “demolition hobbyist." Does that mean he makes bombs in his spare time and blows things up? I'm supposed to think this makes him more believable?

Gage: “Check out every fact you hear tonight.”

Gage: “the A&E for 911 Truth don’t speculate about these issues [who had the means, motive to engage in these crimes, who benefitted, who had access to the buildings and explosives]. We don’t have conspiracy theories”

Gage asks for donations, points out they’re tax deductible, and offers his 4 DVD set for the bargain price of $20.

The only enthusiastic applause either Ryan or Gage receive is when Gage uses Farrakhan quotes at the end.

4 DVDs cost 6 bucks with color package etc - 14 dollars profit (233 percent profit) (yes, you could get 4 DVD for less)

Gage is traveling and making money. Gage must of thought NoI would fall for his lies. A new market for lies.

I haven't watched the video, but does anyone have any NOI feedback on the event? Is there any reason to believe that it failed to convince anyone or raise money?

He did the usual survey before starting his spiel, but after Water Boy Ryan's presentation. Something like 90% of the audience was already Truther.

That is total BS that he keeps repeating.

Their entire case is based on demolition. They claim to have proven beyond a reasonable doubt, that WTC was demolished with explosives. One of their main piece of evidence, listed countless times on their website, is the BS finding of nanothermite. If claiming nanothermite is not a conspiracy theory, or speculating who did the crimes, I don't know what is.

Kevin Ryan is listed as a secretary of AE911T in their tax form. Kevin Ryan, who just happens to lecture with Gage, has had this to say: "With this in mind, it is worthwhile to reiterate that nano-thermite materials were very likely used in the deceptive demolition of the WTC buildings, but most certainly played only a part in the plan. However, other high-tech explosives were available to those who had access to nano-thermite materials at the time. Like SDI, several other organizations with links to military, space and intelligence programs (e.g. In-Q-Tel, Orbital Science) have access to many types of high-tech explosives to cut high-strength bolts and produce pyrotechnic events (Goldstein 2006). I forgot to look at their petition numbers immediately before the NOI event. A&E signatures had a slight ralley between feb 14 and feb 28, but at only 7 new signatures, that could be a random thing. "Other Supporters" are firmly within the trend, and since the NOI was not an A&E convention, I'd say this audience hasn't brought them more than a handful of signers. Should it have generated more donators? ;)

Richard wants to think this is the event that will catapault the new investigation. I have not heard anything more ridiculous and contrary to the obvious, and yes I told him exactly that many times before leaving.

The guy who left AE911T, as we know already, is Brian Romanoff, aka Nor Cal Truth. Her was the main guy who checked the credentials of "Petition" signers.

He said another person left AE911T over the NoI controversy, and even said this (Fri, 03/02/2012 - 2:04pm):
