Did Obama really go to Harvard?

Wrong! Obama's lip movements are in sync with the audio both before and after the cut.

Seriously you are just behaving like a clueless troll, they only need to edit the bit that crosses over the video cut. Simple to do, just overlay from the last part into a pause.

Did you not even watch that video I put up!!? Watch it, it is very informative on stuff you post about and how it is manipulated.

In Obama's case the Harvard credentials are needed to convince the public.

Why does it matter to you what the public believes or doesn't believe? You seem to be working awfully hard to convince that same public of something else. Shouldn't we therefore question your motives as well?

I'm sure that his real credentials are...

No, you can't be sure of anything, because you specifically eschew the process by which such assurance arises. You simply believe (or pretend to believe, for trollish purposes) what some off-the-wall person tells you.

I make those claims as an ordinary person, not as someone who needs credentials to examine things.

A credential is a certification of demonstrated skill at doing something. You don't have one, or any other certification of skill. Therefore you have no way of knowing or showing that you're doing that thing right. Why should we believe that you know what you're doing? Why should we believe that you know what's required in order to do something right?

As I already have pointed out, Obama's speech flows consecutively across the cut at around 0:24 in the video. If you believe there is a cut in the audio (around 0:24), can you please tell me where in this video that cut is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tz3qShugQ9I

You quoted where the cut was - it is where the camera is suddenly on the guy he is talking about!

"... not giving us a lecture, but engaging us in a conversation and speaking the truth and telling us that he (inaudible) .....CUT..... to learn of this place that I've carried with me ever since. Now, how did this one man do all this?"

Go on, put a word in where that cut occurs and make that sentence make sense. A chunk has been cut out. Even if you just examine the sentence "how did this one man do all this?" - please summarise as to what he means. ie. Do all what? He hasn't listed anything!

I'm done, you sucked me in to your ignorant world, and show no sign of being able to understand basic simple stuff. Watch the video, it may even help you with more woo:rolleyes:

Cut in the VIDEO, yes of course, but not in the audio. You can hear the inaudible word (whatever Obama is trying to say) carrying across over the video cut (for a fraction of a second) and into the sequence of the professor.

Where in the AUDIO do you think there is a cut?

ETA: Ok, I may have been unclear about what I meant by 'inaudible'. It means the word that Obama says across the cut at around 0:24. So inaudible here means inaudible word, not silence.

Why do you think this means there isn't an edit? Have you ever actually edited audio and video?

Someone help me out here, I'm having trouble understanding something because I'm just an amateur Gimp user who likes to manipulate static images for kicks and giggles so maybe I'm missing something:

How is a a good or bad (but other wise typical) edit of an interview constitute as being anywhere near suspicious?

One last time for the oh-so-desperately-hard-of understanding:

Making a video cut doesn't mean you cannot overlap audio - it is a piece of cake to do it.

Now had you bothered watching that video I put up explaining how seamless editing is performed by using that exact process.........

Where in the AUDIO do you think there is a cut?

Where you put the word CUT, only the audio is pasted over the cut!

Answer this, because it should smack your "oh yeah" button in your brain:
