Did Obama really go to Harvard?

I was just reminded of the attempts to confirm UFO claimant Bob Lazar's credentials. If you recall, he claimed to have studied and obtained degrees at various prestigious institutions. When critics tried to verify those credentials and came away empty handed, Lazar's supporters argued that the government had wiped away all traces of them as part of his security protocol.

Unfortunately it's not possible to completely erase all trace of someone where he has claimed to live and work for years. No students remember him? No teachers? He can't produce a single photo, dry cleaning claim check, theater ticket stub, or any other detritus from the highly-documented lives we all live?

Conversely now some are strenuously trying to undermine or discount clear evidence that someone has credentials. Predictably, the same sort of strained conjecture is used in reverse: instead of (e.g., in Lazar's case) removing every trace of his attendance in every copy of every appropriate record, wherever it may be, the "birthers" are claiming that monumental efforts have been undertaken to create such traces wherever and however they may be.

Not to forget those pesky commencements which list all the graduates and are usually retained by the parents. Somehow you have to find and get rid of all those too.....

One could argue that consciously pretending to be an idiot so consistently and for such a long time simply for the attention is itself idiotic and more than a little sad.

I've never been able to understand why people would, on a daily basis, humiliate themselves....personally, I live in dread fear of being wrong....and when I am wrong, I am VERY embarrassed, even though I'm not likely to meet anyone from online in real life.

It's just the "way" I am....

Apparently some think that the anomousity of the internet gives them the "right" to be completely idiotic...and I agree, it is very sad...

I'm pretty sure I'm paraphrasing this from someone, but I can't remember who...

Basically, trolling is like covering yourself in feces, walking into a crowded room, declaring that everyone else smells like ****, and then laughing when the crowd reacts in disgust and calls you a filthy idiot. Sure, you've gotten a reaction, but you're still the one covered in ****.

Here is evidence that looks more convincing but maybe also this has been faked: http://www.monster-island.net/2011/04/no-trump-he-really-did-go-to-harvard.html

Do what I suggested: go to a library and look at the actual paper copy that has been sitting on the shelf since 1991.

I suggested this precisely because, as I pointed out, you would just claim that anything you found on the web was "part of a coverup", as you are now doing here.

Go find the book.
