Triumph of the Bigoted, Intolerant Left: Buchanan Fired

It means you never read the book. Libraries wait quite a while to get pop best sellers on their shelves.

The major thesis he cited on those pages was America's reduction in defense capability.

Something you would certainly have remembered had you ever read the book.

Baloney. Nor have you read the book.

I have no time to read something written by some fool I already know to be a total racist dirtbag. I have heard him assert that position on TV.

The bozo was hired to do live TV. He is not entitled to use the company's time to promote his other activities. It's bad TV.

(Not that the way he conducted himself when still acting within his prescribed on-air duties was all that entertaining to begin with.)

Yeah, well I guess I rightly figured you were just blowing smoke.

The bigotry and intolerance of MSNBC is on parade daily.
Cow cookies. Have you ever watched Rachel Maddow interacting with the old schmuck? They actually conducted themselves as you would expect colleagues to do on air.

Talking about an exchange with that lump of repulsvie on her own show, Maddow always seems rather less than creeped out over the experience.

I have to say that MSNBC was rather too nice to him in giving him a job in the first place.

That he then wanted to get in free plugs for a book from which he intended to profit was just too much to ask.

Good bleeding riddance to bad TV time.

Baloney. Nor have you read the book.
After this and your already disproven claim that the 1st Amendment was never mentioned, you've got zero credibility... and you won't recover from that with more lies.

You have no idea what is in the book, and no one is buying your lame excuses.

Who does Buchanan quote on page 1 of the book?

On what page does he define Balkanization? What does he call it after that?

One quote at a time, please. Pick your poison.

Why?

How tough is it to respond to more than one quote?

At any rate, whether or not Buchanan is racist or whether or not his book has racist comments in it does not provide any evidence whatsoever of your claim that he was fired due to bigotry and intolerance.

What is your evidence? (See also Shalamar's post above.)

One quote at a time, please. Pick your poison.

No.

I've already presented you eight quotes and I've already presented you a single quote that met your specific definition of racism.

I'm done jumping through your hoops. You've been avoiding actually defending what you believe since page 1. Either you can do it by now or not. It's fairly plain that most people are of the opinion that you can not. I'm giving you another chance to not look like a complete woo, but I can't make you take it. Are you interested in discussing this or are you just a troll?

Given this thread is beginning to turn into a tiresome merry-go-round, I'd like to ask slightly different questions.

1) What is your goal in making posts in the Politics sub-forum of the JREF?

2) In the course of making 2400 different posts across scores of threads, have you ever read anything in the JREF Politics sub-forum that caused you to change your mind about a specific idea? I am not asking if it caused you to change the way you vote or if it caused you to change your core philosophy or if it caused you to change the way you donate money or time to specific candidates. I am just asking if you have changed your mind about anything after reading a post in this sub-forum. Of course, I am excluding things that changed your opinion to make you more disdainful of liberals or more mistrustful of the left or more contemptuous of the Democrats.

If you did, then I, personally, don't need to know what the change was. I am not asking you to reveal personal information about your specific positions. I just want to know if anything in this sub-forum changed your mind about anything.

...................
If anyone is curious about me - the answer is yes. I have come across information cited in Politics sub-forum threads that have caused me to reconsider my position and attitudes.

No.

why should Democrats be ashamed to represent the progeny of the men who founded, built, and defended slavery since her birth as a nation?

Democrats represent all of our founders, regardless of race. Buchanan, and apparently you, only care about one segment of our founders. Had you been around in the 19th century, you would have probably hated Irish and German heritage people as well as blacks. That's the thing about bigots. They have to have someone to hate. It doesn't matter much who.
