Your Dream TAM2012 Keynote Speaker

I don't know of anything he's done to make him a keynote speaker for TAM.
Good, professional-grade stage presence, and he's awfully witty. And more than a bit skeptical.

Yeah, generally you want your keynote to be someone at least somewhat famous.
Oh come on, how can someone who played "2nd Engineer" in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines not be famous?!

I would be perfectly happy with him putting on an after-hours show or a live podcast or getting Mike for a Hard & Phirm performance. Any of that would be funny. I'd even bring Scrut as my date. (Anyone could bring Scrut as their date if there's a beer promise at the end.)

But if we're picking keynote speakers only because they're witty and good public speakers, then I have to wonder if TAM has lost its luster.

If we're just grabbing popular podcasters now, then I vote for Marc Maron.

Not for a keynote, but I still think TMBG should show up for a few numbers.

Late to the party, but this made my ****** day. If it weren't illegal for me to buy the shirt (and if it didn't result in further encouragement), I would totally wear it at TAM.
Invite him. Tell him they've moved back to Januarys again.

I would suggest George Carlin, and have Theresa Caputo, the Long Island medium, communicating with him.

I've said it before, but I would love Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Sam Harris. I think DJ Grothe said something about her security costs being an issue.
