Dragon Family lawsuit against the United Nations

Then you're closed-minded, by your definition.

"Reception" if an idea, as denoted by the ideals of impartiality and a lack of prejudice, has nothing to do with the correctness of an idea. One can receive an idea impartially, evaluate it, and reject it as having no objective merit without falling into the dreaded category of "closed-minded."

Conspiracy theorists use "open-mindedness" as a euphemism for uncritical belief in any old idea. A lack of prejudice is not the same thing as gullibility.

""Monsignors' mutiny" revealed by Vatican leaks

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Call it Conspiracy City. Call it Scandal City. Call it Leak City. These days the holy city has been in the news for anything but holy reasons.

"It is a total mess," said one high-ranking Vatican official who spoke, like all others, on the condition of anonymity.

The Machiavellian maneuvering and machinations that have come to light in the Vatican recently are worthy of a novel about a sinister power struggle at a medieval court." -- Full story: http://news.yahoo.com/monsignors-mutiny-revealed-vatican-leaks-140524856.html

interesting link, surprisingly enough..

I have no difficulty believing the Catholic capital is full of corrupt hypocritical backstabbing nonces, but secretly running the world? not really.

The bishop said: "The pope is very isolated. He lives in his own world and some say the information he receives is filtered. He is interested in his books and his sermons but he is not very interested in [secret illuminati world :) ] government."

I think the Vatican controls the Western world but not the Eastern world. The Inquisition was probably largely about mind control, and some say mind control techniques were used already in ancient Egypt. In Asia another cabal that includes the Dragon Family probably used similar mind control techniques. Although during the 20th century the eastern cabal was merged with the western cabal so we now have one international secret cabal running everything.

The Vietnam War was basically a huge mind control orgy where both the eastern and western powers did mind control experiments on each other's soldiers. In one video I watched recently (unfortunately I don't have the link) a member of a black op team said that there were officers from China and the Soviet Union controlling one of the Vietnam POW prison camps where he was held prisoner during the war. Really nasty stuff from which only he and one other prisoner survived from. And in another video they talked about how the CIA had a big mind control center outside of Saigon during the Vietnam war.

From the song 19: "In 1965, Vietnam seemed like just another foreign war. But it wasn't. It was different in many ways. And so were those who did the fighting." -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3LdMAqUMnM

I see, so only you are allowed to use your brain to reject absurd claims, while still remaining "open-minded." No one else may.

Special pleading noted.

No, I was pointing out the need for common sense. Being "open-minded" to the idea that 2+2=5 is just absurd. Being open-minded doesn't mean being open to ALL ideas.

Then would you care to revise your answer to my post from earlier today?

No. Not caring whether something is right or wrong is not the definition of open-mindedness.

Being open-minded is not the same as not caring about something being true or not. True. It simply means that the person isn't sure and is ready to examine the theory. You imply that I don't care about if the theory is true or not, which is a false assumption you made.

Your proposals are just as absurd as 2+2=5 that is why they are rejected.

So those of us who receive and examine your theories and find them factually bankrupt can still, in fact, be considered open-minded?

No, it's an observation of your behavior. You typically express a belief in something long before you have examined it in any way for correctness. Credulity is bias. Implicit belief is prejudice.

You are, in fact, closed-minded to the possibility that the thing you believe in may not be true. This is where the real definition of open-mindedness applies and where the conspiractist's co-option of it fails.

That's what many said about Fulford's information when he said that a huge lawsuit would be filed. It seemed absurd. Yet such lawsuit later WAS filed.

Sure, if you find information to be false, then you can still remain open-minded.

If I was closed-minded I would still believe real planes hit the WTC towers. I don't.

But wait a minute. All the definitions if "open-minded" I've consulted today emphasize that it means principally the absence of prejudice. Prejudice is to make up one's mind one way or another first, without a careful examination. Would you agree?

I haven't made up my mind about the Dragon Family lawsuit.
