Does this help?

Yep, that's you saying Iran getting a nuke makes sense, and then predicting the Merkins will ignite WWIII.

But I don't think there are any "meds" for that. I think that's hardwired.

I said, Iran getting nuked for firing a nuke would have made sense. As in if Iran attacks someone they should get nuked in return because that´s the cornerstone of the nuclear club. You nuke someone out of the blue, you get a nuke to your face in kind! But that attacking NK and Pakistan out of the blue because of that could ignite WWIII.

Ok, so maybe I used the wrong choice of words. But it´s not what you mean!

So Iran nukes someone, gets a nuke to the face. I have no problems with that. Clear?

Thanks for the interpretation. But your response still doesn't apply to the situation Wildcat was talking about.

What do you recommend if the source of the nuclear attack is not known? Wait for the next detonation, and then the next, and then the next? What would you do? Bearing in mind that this is the most likely scenario for a nuclear terrorist attack.

I´m not sure what do do, but surely you can agree that randomly nuking suspect countries out of the blue is not the best solution or is it? I assume it´s possible to trace back the plutonium or the components of the bomb to the place where it came from. Do that, find where the bomb came from, then do whatever you want to do.

You are assuming the terrorist will have multiple nuclear devices. I don´t find that possible. One, they might, but several it´s an herculean task. The more likely scenario for a nuclear terrorist strike IMO, is a single device or a single dirty bomb.

See, this is debating, now I understood what you meant.

If you wouldn't know what to do, then you wouldn't do anything.

Pakistan has a number of nukes. Given time, Iran may have enough to do a job.

All it takes is a nuke and a truck to take out a city. In the envisioned worst-case scenario, WWIII has already started, and you're going to lose.

Nothing random about it. It's very simple:
1. Was a nuclear device detonasted by terrorists against the US or its allies?
If "yes" then:
2. Retaliate against nuclear countries known to aid terrorist groups.

Want to get off ther list? Get rid of your nukes. Nervous about the other rogue members of the nuclear club giving nukes to terrorists? Get rid of your nukes.

It's very simple.

And on the off chance the nuke happens to come from a country with no known record of helping terrorist groups? Shall we say.. India for example.

If the origin is known then the country of origin gets the retaliation, even if it's India.

But in the likely scenario where the origin isn't known the rogue states get it. And we both know it won't be India giving nukes to terrorists, don't we?

I said off chance din´t I?

Once again, what was acceptable 50 or 100 years ago no longer is. Would you likewise excuse China if they sent some ships to Africa, rounded up a bunch of people, and sent them back to China for sale as slaves?

Hey, Europe and the US did it! Who are we to criticize China for doing the same?
Really?

Slavery is no longer acceptable today, and the rest of the world is just waiting for China to catch up?

What does this mean?
Parroting Bashar's version of events:
The president has repeatedly denied attacking civilians, saying Syrian forces are targeting armed gangs and foreign terrorists bent on destabilizing the government.

Syrian state television Thursday said armed terrorist gangs fired seven shells into Homs in the early morning, adding that there were no reports of damage.

The station then showed video of people it identified as residents saying armed gangs had fired on their homes and schools with shells and rocket-propelled grenades.

Nearly all other reports from within the country, however, tell a different story.
