100 million deaths due to capitalism in the 20th century.

So nothing.

Anyway,

1) I am not a European.
2) As I already said, it is absolutely ridiculous to hold people responsible for what their ancestors did.
3) Even if the effects of colonialism continue to kill millions of people, it is not the same as systemically murdering millions of people.

If that's how you feel, but like I said, I've dealt with the American Criminal Justice system. It's perhaps one of the worst and most dehumanizing experiences I've went through. I felt safer when I lived in the Delta.

And yet here you are alive and free to whine about it on the Internet.

Yes what happened in the Congo Free State was not King Leopold's fault.

Stalin and Mao killed near a hundred million people. Comparing Reservations to the gulags is nonsense on stilts. You can't really believe that. People who talk that sort of bollocks do it more for psychological reasons than genuine conviction.

Those numbers are highly inflated and Ok.

Even if Stalin and Mao only murdered mere millions the comparison is still flat on its face ridiculous. As in there is no way any rational person could actually believe it.

Yeah, Indian reservations are often impoverished. But the people have a say in the government and they won't be shipped off to some gulag for speaking against the tribal government or the US government. They have opportunity to their better situation. And they don't have to live in the reservation if they don't want to.

But you just attributed those deaths to the monarch!

And no, a monarch is NOT a capitalist.

Actually, depending on the powers vested in the monarch, a monarchy can be functionally indistinguishable from communism.

In communism, society owns all property communally and the state carries out the duties and exercises all privileges and rights of the property owner on behalf of the society.

In an extremely powerful monarchy, where the King basically owns everything in the country, there is no functional difference between that and communism.

A prime example of a communist monarchy is North Korea. Absolute power is vested in the "king", he exercises all rights duties and [riveleges of ownership of the nations properties and the position of "king" is even handed down father to son just as in most other monarchies.

what absurd rambling.
you are being ridiculous.
if the time came that commandos were attacking individual homes, north america would have larger problems than me.
but carry on in your absurdity.

for what it's worth, human attackers invading my home would have fewer numbers by the time they took me out.
.

BD, as fun as all this internet tough guy talk is, no one wants to send commandos or tanks* to your house.

What we have been trying to explain to you, and I suspect you are deliberately ignoring, is that your vision of an anarcho-communistic society is unsustainable. Unless you have an actual state with state organizations like police forces, armies and prison systems (courts optional under communism and totalitarian systems) It will not survive the very first person who decides he doesn't like it and wants to tear it down.

Have you ever heard of or played the game "Bigger and Better"? We did this at church once. We split into 5 teams of 5 to 7 people. Each team was issued a single paperclip. And sent out to trade the paper clip for something slightly better. We were to report back to the church after three hours to see what we had gotten. After each team returned we compared what we had gotten from starting from just a paper clip. Our haul included a filing cabinet, an 18 speed bicycle which needed new brake cables, a washing machine and the winning team came back with a functioning 27 inch color TV.

That's a real world test with real world results. And that's about the lifespan of your classless society. That's how long it would take for a cunning person or small group thereof, starting with just a bloody paperclip to become the new richest person in the country.

Imagine what they could do in three days, weeks or months?

*I actually would like to play with the tank, I would love to drive it out to Elk Island Park and hunt buffalo with it. But that has nothing to do with destroying your system of non-government.

The problem with the "bigger and better" model is that is based on coersion rather than barter, let alone free trade. Here is a good example of the B & B run amok:

One thing I've always wondered was how these new communists plan on ensuring nobody gets an edge ? More police? Interrogations? The honor system?

What happens when the guy in charge of figuring out the crop quotas makes a mistake? Oops, 500,000 people starve?
