Merged The "official story" meme.

How do you know how many casualties were possible?
Wouldn't it have been a better story if the whole "passengers take over from hijackers" story had taken place aboard Flight 77 with the struggle taking place just in time to result in the plane crashing into the Pentagon lawn and heroically saving our vaunted military office building?

TPTB really should invest in some better script writers...

Hehehe! And even though the joos are part of the evil gubment they still didnt find a good script writer?? That in itself shows that it cant be a conspiracy! :p

A bit off topic; anyone that reads Norwegian/Swedish or Danish that can help take the mic out of some crazy ct`ers on a Norwegian forum???

For anyone who is interested re: the whole idea that the section of the Pentagon that was hit was being renovated, and those killed were mostly construction workers:

Renovations had finished in the section of the Pentagon that was hit, and offices were back to full capacity. Of the 125 people killed on the ground, 55 were uniformed members of the Armed Forces and virtually all of the remaining 70 people were civilian employees of the Armed Forces. The few exceptions were various consultants and contractors doing a variety of jobs (one contractor was at the time giving a presentation to Lt Gen Timothy Maude - the highest ranked officer killed). It doesn't appear that a single construction worker was killed.

Approximately 1/3 of the ~25,000 workers in the Pentagon are civilian. The section that was hit had a disproportionately high number of civilian workers as it was mostly occupied by a US Army financial department. Most of the budget analysts and accountants for the US military are civilian employees. The majority of the uniformed people killed were US Navy. This is because the other major occupant in the impact zone was a Navy Operations Center.

Notably, the majority of the civilian employees were retired members of the defense force.

gumboot, what about the truther claim that it was an area where there would result the least possible casualties? Did someone analyze where everyone was at the time of the attack and determine how many people would likely have been killed if the plane had gone in from a different direction or dived directly into the roof somewhere?

That argument is something akin to a "texas sharpshooter" fallacy. When Dr Griffin released his list of lies by omission and commission in the "official account" I started to analyse them, and his arguments on this point were one of my more comprehensive responses. I'll post it here in full. I believe it completely demolishes the argument. Apologies in advance if not all of the links work; I did this some years ago.

The process I used was to first cite Griffin's claim, then identify the inherent contra-claims in his statement; for example if I say the sky is blue and you accuse me of a lie of commission you're inherently claiming the sky is NOT blue and if you accuse me of a lie of omission, whatever that omission is, is your inherent claim.

I then test the validity of his inherent claims, and use the conclusions from that to reject or accept his original claim.

16. The omission of the fact that the west wing of the Pentagon would have been the least likely spot to be targeted by al-Qaeda terrorists, for several reasons (33-34).

Regarding the section of the Pentagon that was hit on 9/11, the Report states:

The NMCC reported a crash into the mall side of the Pentagon and requested that the Secretary of Defense be added to the conference. (p.38)

At 9:37, the west wall of the Pentagon was hit by hijacked American Airlines Flight 77, a Boeing 757. (p.314)

The report makes no indication that the section of the building that was hit was in any way unlikely to be hit.

In order to understand Griffin’s claim we first have to identify the “several reasons” he alludes to. From his book Omissions and Distortions:

A terrorist pilot would surely have wanted to cause as much death and destruction as possible. And yet the west wing was being renovated. Instead of the several thousand people who would normally have been working in the area that was struck, there were only about 800. As a result, whereas a strike on a different part of the Pentagon would have probably killed thousands, the strike on the West Wing killed only 125 people employed at the Pentagon – many of whom were civilians working on the renovation.

…

A terrorist using a hijacked airplane to strike the Pentagon would also presumably want to target its top officials. But they were located elsewhere. The strike on the West Wing, in fact, reportedly killed none of the top Pentagon officials and only one General.

Griffin, D.R.; The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions And Distortions, p.33.

There are therefore a number of claims Dr Griffin is making regarding his claim.

a) The claim inherent in the allegation is that Al Qaeda terrorists intentionally targeted the West Wing of the Pentagon.

b) The claim inherent in the allegation is that Al Qaeda terrorists wanted to cause as much death and destruction as possible.

c) The claim inherent in the allegation is that Al Qaeda terrorists wanted to target top Pentagon officials.

d) The claim inherent in the allegation is that the West Wing of the Pentagon was being renovated at the time of the attacks and was not fully populated.

e) The claim inherent in the allegation is that the higher ranking officials at the Pentagon were not located in the West Wing.

f) The claim inherent in the allegation is that Al Qaeda would have known that the West Wing was being renovated and top ranking officials were not located there.

I will deal with these six claims in two sets of three. The first three claims collectively address Al Qaeda’s intentions in ramming an airliner into the Pentagon. Dr Griffin asserts that, in making this attack, Al Qaeda specifically wanted to hit the section that was in fact hit, that they wanted to inflict maximum damage, and that they wished to kill senior military staff.

Dr Griffin provides no reason for making this assertion. We must accept his word that he is familiar with the intentions of a terrorist network with regards to an attack that he does not even believe they carried out. The absurdity of such a notion is obvious. Dr Griffin claims (without evidence) that he knows what Al Qaeda’s aims were in relation to the 9/11 Attacks. Yet Dr Griffin does not believe Al Qaeda even carried out the attacks.

There is no reason to believe Dr Griffin on his word – as we have already seen in this document he has a track record for dishonesty and falsehood. And we don’t need to believe his word. First, we should consider the general goals of a terrorist attack.

The precise definition of “terrorism” is an often debated topic. On 17 February 1995 the United Nations General Assembly, passed resolution 49/60 which defined terrorism as:

Criminal acts intended or calculated to provoke a state of terror in the general public, a group of persons or particular persons for political purposes are in any circumstance unjustifiable, whatever the considerations of a political, philosophical, ideological, racial, ethnic, religious or any other nature that may be invoked to justify them.

United Nations General Assembly Resolution 49/60

Further, in the November 2004 report entitled “In Larger Freedom”, the United Nations defined terrorism:

Any action constitutes terrorism if it is intended to cause death or serious bodily harm to civilians or non-combatants with the purpose of intimidating a population or compelling a Government or an international organization to do or abstain from doing any act.

In Larger Freedom – Chapter 3: Freedom From Fear

The European Union defines terrorism as identified criminal offences perpetrated against person or property which:

Given their nature or context, may seriously damage a country or an international organisation where committed with the aim of: seriously intimidating a population; or unduly compelling a Government or international organisation to perform or abstain from performing any act; or seriously destabilising or destroying the fundamental political, constitutional, economic or social structures of a country or an international organisation.

Article 1, Framework Decision On Combating Terrorism (2002)

The United States has defined terrorism under the Federal Criminal Code. Chapter 113B of Part I of Title 18 of the United States Code defines terrorism and lists the crimes associated with terrorism. In Section 2331 of Chapter 113b, terrorism is defined as:

As used in this chapter -
(1) the term "international terrorism" means activities that -

(A) involve violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws of the United States or of any State, or that would be a criminal violation if committed within the jurisdiction of the United States or of any State;

(B) appear to be intended -
(i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population;
(ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and

(C) occur primarily outside the territorial jurisdiction of the United States, or transcend national boundaries in terms of the means by which they are accomplished, the persons they appear intended to intimidate or coerce, or the locale in which their perpetrators operate or seek asylum;

United States Code, Title 18 – Crimes and Criminal Procedure
Part One – Crimes, Chapter 113B - Terrorism

Terrorism is defined under United Kingdom law in the Terrorism Act 2000:

Section 1. -
(1) In this Act "terrorism" means the use or threat of action where-
(a) the action falls within subsection (2),
(b) the use or threat is designed to influence the government or to intimidate the public or a section of the public, and
(c) the use or threat is made for the purpose of advancing a political, religious or ideological cause.
(2) Action falls within this subsection if it-
(a) involves serious violence against a person,
(b) involves serious damage to property,
(c) endangers a person's life, other than that of the person committing the action,
(d) creates a serious risk to the health or safety of the public or a section of the public, or
(e) is designed seriously to interfere with or seriously to disrupt an electronic system.
(3) The use or threat of action falling within subsection (2) which involves the use of firearms or explosives is terrorism whether or not subsection (1)(b) is satisfied.

Terrorism Act 2000, Part One

The primary feature of terrorism, which differs from other violent acts, is that the crime is directed not against the immediate victims of the act, but against the wider population – those that survive the attack. The purpose of a terrorist attack is not to kill or to damage, but to intimidate.

This intention is confirmed in video tapes released by Al Qaeda after the attacks, such as a November 2004 recording featuring Osama Bin Laden:

Finally, it behoves you to reflect on the last wills and testaments of the thousands who left you on the 11th as they gestured in despair. They are important testaments, which should be studied and researched.

Among the most important of what I read in them was some prose in their gestures before the collapse, where they say: "How mistaken we were to have allowed the White House to implement its aggressive foreign policies against the weak without supervision."

It is as if they were telling you, the people of America: "Hold to account those who have caused us to be killed, and happy is he who learns from others' mistakes."

And among that which I read in their gestures is a verse of poetry. "Injustice chases its people, and how unhealthy the bed of tyranny."

As has been said: "An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure."

And know that: "It is better to return to the truth than persist in error." And that the wise man doesn't squander his security, wealth and children for the sake of the liar in the White House.

In conclusion, I tell you in truth, that your security is not in the hands of Kerry, nor Bush, nor al-Qaida. No.

Your security is in your own hands. And every state that doesn't play with our security has automatically guaranteed its own security.

The target of the attacks becomes symbolic – intended to intimidate and coerce the broader American population. The Pentagon has obvious symbolic value. It represents the entire US Armed Forces. Striking the Pentagon symbolically represents striking the very heart of US military power. The actual physical damage done to the building and its occupants is secondary. The power of the attack is simply in actually hitting the building.

We first have to confirm where AA77 actually did hit the Pentagon, as Dr Griffin’s reference to the “west wing” is vague and inaccurate. The Pentagon’s structure was unique:

The Pentagon building is composed of five concentric pentagonal rings connected by ten radial corridors.

…

The five concentric pentagonal rings are separated by interior courts which serve as light wells.

…

The rings are connected at each floor level by a series of ten radial corridors extending from the “A” ring (innermost) to the “E” ring (outermost).

Source

The building was further divided into five sections referred to as “wedges” as this image demonstrates:

Image

This image gives an excellent visual depiction of where AA77 hit the building in relation to the five wedges. As we can see, the aircraft impacted near the meeting point between Wedge 1 and Wedge 2.
Image

An image from the official ASCE report into the performance of the Pentagon provides additional detail of the impact point and damage:

Image

The full ASCE Building Performance Study can be read online (PDF):

Finally, evidence provided at the trial of Zacarias Moussaoui provides details on the layout of the ground floor of the impact area:

Image

The yellow circles denote the location of building occupant remains while the blue circles denote the location of aircraft passenger remains.

Dr Griffin’s assertions rely on a logical fallacy. There’s absolutely nothing to indicate that Hani Hanjour explicitly intended to hit the particular section of the Pentagon that was struck. This is a logical fallacy known as the Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy:

The Texas sharpshooter fallacy is a logical fallacy in which information that has no relationship is interpreted or manipulated until it appears to have meaning. The name comes from a story about a Texan who fires several shots at the side of a barn, then paints a target centered on the hits and claims to be a sharpshooter.

Wikipedia

Dr Griffin is making an assertion that Al Qaeda did not fly AA77 into the Pentagon based on the fact that, had Al Qaeda done so, they would not have hit at the join between Wedge 1 and 2. Dr Griffin here makes the error of assuming Hani Hanjour would have struck the building exactly where he wanted to hit it. This is an extraordinary claim, given only a few pages earlier in his book he claimed Hani Hanjour was such a poor pilot he could not have hit the Pentagon at all.

Dr Griffin’s claims simply do not make any internal logical sense. We are expected to simultaneously believe that Hani Hanjour is incapable of flying an airliner into the Pentagon, while also believing his flying capabilities are sufficient that he would hit the building precisely where he intended to.

As we have previously seen, Dr Griffin is wrong on both assertions. Hani Hanjour did have sufficient skill to hit the Pentagon, however there is no available evidence indicating that he aimed for a particular section of the building, and the evidence we have of his flying abilities suggests that even had he aimed for a specific section, there’s every possibility he would have missed and hit a different part of the structure.

There is a much more mundane explanation for why the Pentagon was struck between Wedge 1 and Wedge 2, and it’s plainly evident in an image of the structure:

Image

This image is orientated to the north. As we can see this side of the building faces west, and AA77 approached from the west, as per the flight summary from the NTSB:

Image

Simply put, Hani Hanjour flew AA77 into the first side of the building that presented itself to him. He didn’t pre-select a particular side, he didn’t go out of his way to hit that side; he simply saw the building and flew into it.

The fourth and fifth inherent claims Dr Griffin makes relate to the nature of the Pentagon itself, and the occupants of the section that was hit.

The most startling of Dr Griffin’s claims is that the section of the Pentagon that was hit was under renovation, was only partially occupied, and that most of those killed were contractors working on the renovations. Even in this claim he cannot keep his facts clear. He claims that this section would normally contain “several thousand” but that “thousands” would have been killed. Yet with the 800 he claims were present in the same area on 9/11, only 125 were killed.

According to the official Pentagon website:

The Pentagon is virtually a city in itself. Approximately 23,000 employees, both military and civilian, contribute to the planning and execution of the defense of our country.

Source

Occupants (military & civilian):
25,000

Source

This auction site further reveals:

With over 16,000 military employees, the corridors and offices of the Pentagon are filled with uniformed soldiers from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard.

Source

From this we can conclude the Pentagon had about 25,000 people inside it, with about 2/3 of them being military personnel and the other 1/3 being civilian employees of the Defense Department.

The Washington Post hosts a website with photographs and a detailed biography of all of the victims of the 9/11 attacks. Included are the 125 people who were killed at the Pentagon when AA77 struck.

Link

A scan over the occupation and biography of those killed at the Pentagon reveals that they were Defense Department employees, many of them military personnel, not contractors working on the renovation.

Further the website for the Pentagon Renovation Program has additional details about the timeline for renovating the building:

Move Out
Before the renovation of Wedge 1 could begin, 5,000 Pentagon tenants had to be relocated into various SWING SPACE locations, temporary office space leased in and around the Pentagon for the duration of the Renovation Program. The move-out phase of Wedge 1 occurred between January 1, 1998, and December 31, 1998.

…

Tenant Fit-Out
Tenant fit-out work, the construction of office areas based on the requirements of the intended tenant, is being completed in phases, following the same sequence as core and shell construction. The A and B rings were completed, with carpet, ceiling tile and painting in January 2001. Tenant fit-out work is nearing completion in the remainder of the wedge with the last area expected to be completed by Summer 2001. Tenant fit-out is followed by furniture installation, communication hook up and move-in.

Move-in
The culmination of the renovation of Wedge 1 is moving the new occupants into the renovated office space. The majority of the new occupants will come from Wedge 2. Approximately 5,000 people will be moved into Wedge 1 in phases. The first move-in occurred in February 2001 and Wedge 1 was entirely occupied in early February 2003.
Source

Of note is that the move-in of tenants began seven months before 9/11. This site also tells us that about 5,000 of the Pentagon’s 25,000 occupants worked in Wedge One which had a total area of 1,000,000 square feet.

The move-in of tenants was interrupted by the September 11 Attacks and resulted in sections of Wedge One and Wedge Two being demolished and rebuilt in a program called Project Phoenix.

The site also has details on the area affected by Project Phoenix, for comparison.

400,000 square feet of office space were demolished and rebuilt, displacing 4,600 Pentagon employees. A total of 2,600 people were in the immediate area of impact, of which 125 were killed and 110 were seriously injured. The impact penetrated through three of the building’s five rings.

A comparison of these figures suggests that the area of the Pentagon that was hit by AA77 was not unoccupied at all, but near full capacity. There were “several thousand” people in the impact zone, just as Dr Griffin asserts there would be if the floors were fully staffed. His 800 figure simply does not reflect reality.

[ED: I now believe the 800 figure derives from the number of people that were reported missing immediately after the attack, and bears no relationship to the total number of people within the impact area).

We’ve seen that Dr Griffin asserts Al Qaeda would have wanted to kill senior military commanders at the Pentagon. He also asserts that the senior officers were located on the opposite side of the building.

The highest ranked officer killed at the Pentagon on 9/11 was Lieutenant General Timothy J Maude, Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, US Army. Lieutenant General is an O-9 rank, and the second highest rank a peace time member of the United States Armed Forces can hold. Dr Griffin may be surprised to learn that higher ranking officers are actually exceedingly rare. US law strictly limits the number of commissioned officers of O-9 or O-10 grade:

Section 525. Distribution of commissioned officers on active duty in general officer and flag officer grades

(a) No appointment may be made in a grade above brigadier general in the Army, Air Force, or Marine Corps if that appointment would result in more than 50 percent of the general officers of that armed force on active duty being in grades above brigadier general. No appointment may be made in a grade above rear admiral (lower half) in the Navy if that appointment would result in more than 50 percent of the flag officers of the Navy on active duty being in grades above rear admiral (lower half).

(b) (1) No appointment may be made in a grade above major general in the Army or Air Force if that appointment would result in more than 15.7 percent of the general officers of that armed force on active duty being in grades above major general. Of the 15.7 percent of general officers of the Army or Air Force on active duty who may be serving in grades above major general, not more than 25 percent may be serving in the grade of general.

(2) (A) No appointment may be made in a grade above rear admiral in the Navy if that appointment would result in more than 15.7 percent of the flag officers of the Navy on active duty being in grades above rear admiral. Of the 15.7 percent of flag officers on active duty who may be serving in grades above rear admiral, not more than 25 percent may be serving in the grade of admiral.

(B) No appointment may be made in a grade above major general in the Marine Corps if that appointment would result in more than 17.5 percent of the general officers of the Marine Corps on active duty being in grades above major general.

Section 526. Authorized strength: general and flag officers on active duty

(a) Limitations. - The number of general officers on active duty in the Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps, and the number of flag officers on active duty in the Navy, may not exceed the number specified for the armed force concerned as follows:
(1) For the Army, 302.
(2) For the Navy, 216.
(3) For the Air Force, 279.
(4) For the Marine Corps, 80.

US Code Title 10 – Armed Forces
Subtitle A, Part II, Chapter 32

As a result currently there are a total of only 39 active duty officers in the US armed forced who rank higher than Lieutenant General Maude.

They are listed, with their current commands, here.

Of the 39 officers, only nine are located at the Pentagon (the members of the Joints Chiefs of Staff and the Commandant of the Marine Corps), the other thirty being stationed at the headquarters of their various commands around the world. In addition the Secretary of Defense has his office located in the Pentagon.

Locating the offices of these key officers inside the Pentagon is problematic. For obvious reasons such information is not publicly released, however we can learn a little from several articles. An article from Jane’s Security reveals that Dr Griffin’s assertion is right – key offices were located opposite the impact point of AA77:

Meanwhile, commentators were saying in the aftermath of the attack that the Pentagon's current location and layout should no longer remain. The building is constantly overflown by aircraft operating out of Ronald Reagan National Airport and, on the opposite side of the building to where Flight 77 was crashed, the offices of the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of the Army and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs are all located on top of each other.

Source

We can learn more from the account of Esquire writer Thomas Barnett’s April 2005 interview with the Secretary of Defense.

21 April 2005, 1420
Secretary of Defense's office
Room 3E880
Pentagon

Source

Now we have the Secretary’s room number – 3E880. And we can work out what that means:

Room numbers are comprised of the following information:
The first number or letter indicates the floor on which the room is located
(B = Basement, M = Mezzanine, 1-5 = floors).
The next letter is the ring on which the room is located.
(Rings are designated A,B,C,D, and E for the Mezzanine and floors 1-5 plus the
additional rings F and G in the basement only.)
The next digit or the next two digits indicates the corridor on which the room is located. (Corridors are designated 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10)
The last two digits indicate the specific bay or room number assigned to an office.

Source

From this we can determine that the Secretary of Defense’s office is on the outside of the building, in the north east corner section. In order to hit this section of the building, Hani Hanjour would need to have flown a circuit around the entire building before lining up over the Lincoln Memorial and turning back towards the Pentagon. The location of these key offices near a corner makes hitting them even more difficult as the angle of the building walls increases the likelihood of the aircraft being deflected away from the intended target.

AA77 hit the lower two floors of the building, and everyone in levels 3 to 5 above the impact point survived. The Pentagon’s unique design prevented the upper floors collapsing immediately, saving hundreds of lives. The National Geographic TV series Seconds From Disaster covered the unique design in one of their episodes:

Video.

These facts make a suicide airliner crash a very poor choice of weapon for an assassination attempt, which is essentially what Dr Griffin is asserting. The spacious executive offices of the Pentagon offered nine high-profile targets, but they also minimised the total number of people who would be killed, in contrast with the more densely populated offices in the rest of the building. The Secretary of Defense is also a poor target for an assassination attempt. Despite eighteen attempts to assassinate US Presidents, there is no documented account of any assassination attempt on a US Secretary of Defense.

Dr Griffin’s assertions directly contradict each other – targeting the less densely occupied executive offices of the Pentagon necessitates reducing the amount of “death and destruction”. However Dr Griffin asserts that Al Qaeda wanted to maximise “death and destruction”.

Dr Griffin’s assertions also hinge on an assumption that Al Qaeda knew where the executive offices in the Pentagon were. This information is not readily available, and the sources I have found have all been post-9/11.

Finally, Al Qaeda could not have guaranteed those executive officers were even at the Pentagon at the time of the attacks, and indeed neither the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff – General Henry Shelton – nor the Vice Chairman General Richard Myers were in the building at the time:

RICHARD MYERS: I remember it was like watching a bad movie. I was on Capitol Hill. I was about ready to meet with Senator Cleland.

…

The Chairman had left that morning to go to Europe, so he was somewhere over the Atlantic. As I got to the Pentagon I noticed a lot of people were coming out of the Pentagon. Of course they'd been told to evacuate.

Al Qaeda have assassinated people in the past, and done so effectively. It is highly improbably they would waste such a valuable weapon as a fuel-laden airliner trying to assassinate senior military officials who might not even be in the Pentagon. Dr Griffin’s assertions simply do not stand up to any scrutiny.

a) The claim that Al Qaeda terrorists intentionally targeted the West Wing of the Pentagon is rejected.

b) The claim that Al Qaeda terrorists wanted to cause as much death and destruction as possible is rejected.

c) The claim that Al Qaeda terrorists wanted to target top Pentagon officials is rejected.

d) The claim that the West Wing of the Pentagon was being renovated at the time of the attacks and was not fully populated is conditionally rejected. Although Wedge One was still in the process of Tenant Move-in at the time of the attacks, the available data indicates the actual section that was hit was fully staffed and operational on the day.

e) The claim that the higher ranking officials at the Pentagon were not located in the West Wing is accepted.

f) The claim that Al Qaeda would have known that the West Wing was being renovated and top ranking officials were not located there is rejected.

Not when what ever happened to the Pentagon caused the fewest possible casualties.

So how do you know how many people were in any one place in the pentagon at that time on that day.
Furthermore please show me how that particular impact point as opposed to say the open space in the center, one of the car parks, the loading dock or even a mountain in Virginia would have caused more casualties?

List all assumptions made and show working.

Or is this just another of your completely baseless assertions:rolleyes:

Wouldn't it have been a better story if the whole "passengers take over from hijackers" story had taken place aboard Flight 77 with the struggle taking place just in time to result in the plane crashing into the Pentagon lawn and heroically saving our vaunted military office building?

TPTB really should invest in some better script writers...

and how did they fail to have the attack on Hi Def live TV??????? who dropped the ball there??????? Shock and awe and you forgot to turn the camera on???

Thank you, gumboot. If DRG had done as much homework as you obviously have, he wouldn't be writing such carp. Sheeplesnshills, I've often wondered just that - if you want shock and awe wouldn't you actually have the cameras rolling somewhere? Of course, had I been the Al Qaeda rep, I'd have conveniently had someone lurking around who "just happened" to get it on video so they could run it over to cnn at the first opportunity...After all, they wanted shock and awe as well.

Miniaturize the events related to 9/11 into a crime or crimes that the authorities might encounter. Then imagine solving it as a whodunnit using the facts provided.

Guy buys two adjacent houses in an exclusive gated community and has them heavily insured.

The police chief sends out a memo revising policy that requires his personal authorization to enter the exclusive gated community.

A couple of months go by and low and behold the guy has an opportunity to collect on the policy.

The guy and his family usually sleep in one during week but were gone when the fires took place.

The people accused of the crime were mostly children of those who worked for his trusted business partner.

The people accused of the crime commandeered public buses with passengers and rode around the gated community for an hour or so before crashing into the homes. Somehow the police never got involved.

The people accused of the crime were all killed in the "suicide" attack.

Various safety features required in the exclusive gated community fail and the houses are destroyed.

One of the commandeered buses crashed into the police station. A few auxiliary policemen were killed but mostly civil service workers.

Shortly after the event the police chief rescinds the memo.
Why is the only TRUE Lone Ranger here posting stuff about Troofer lies and fantasies?

So you think the phrase "official story" is itself a "conspiracy theory"? >___>

No, it's just a way of semantically painting a deceitful picture without having to go though all the trouble of actually presenting facts.

No, it's just a way of semantically painting a deceitful picture without having to go though all the trouble of actually presenting facts.

They make that more and more obvious everytime they recite the term.

Official story?

I'm a bit confused about this “official story”. Who actually composed it and more importantly, how was it distributed?

OK, some will say NIST wrote the debunk of controlled demolition but, how many people do you know have actually read the NIST report? For that matter how many can actually say they have read the 9/11 commission report?

“Truthers” will say that MSM told us what to believe. That doesn't work either. Where do they get all their “explosion”, “molten steel” and other quotes from? You guessed it, the same MSM.

So. Simple question. How did the vast majority of the world hear about this “official story” and decide to leave “9/11 truth” in the dust (if they even heard about it in the first place)?

From what I've seen, it's ANY account that shatters the twoofer belief.
They seem to think calling it "official", somehow demeans it!
I admit, I'll never get their mind set!
