But you cannot generate wealth without capitalism. If it wasn't for capitalism we wouldn't even be having this conversation, because we wouldn't have an internet and would likely be one notch above starvation tending our subsistence farm.
 
We more likely would still be hunter-gathers; iirc farming was the first capitalistic enterprise.
 
Meanwhile, Occupy Black Friday was a rousing success... for the stores!

Occupy SF activists had hoped to keep shoppers out of downtown San Francisco stores to protest corporate greed, but no matter how hard they yelled, shoppers shoved right on by.

Two dozen Occupy protesters began marching around downtown at sundown, chanting protest slogans. They'd hoped to make their anti-consumption point at the annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony in Union Square, but the crowd was so massive they couldn't get near.

That post was Central Scrutinizer being facetious. Maybe you missed the humor; maybe not. The sad fact is that there are a few genuine anti-semites on this board. One NWO / 9/11 truther / holocaust denier, Clayton Moore, is posting in this very thread. That's what I meant by the paranoid, anti-Semitic right. They have used the word "bankster" for years. Folks like Lew Rockwell, the LaRouche people, etc.

I haven't seen anyone accuse OWS of being anti-Semitic because they are against the banking system or whatever.

Occupy Boston protester assaults police:

As the officers were speaking to the woman, Anderson allegedly ran toward them and began chanting anti-police slogans, spraying the officers with spittle as she did so. Anderson is said to have tried pushing past one officer to get closer to the others as they conducted their interview. At this point, the officer whom she allegedly pushed told her to leave the area.

Instead, authorities say, Anderson became extremely aggressive and punched the officer in the face. When another officer intervened, she allegedly punched him in the face as well, and the three went to the ground as officers tried to take her into custody. It was several minutes before officers were able to place her in handcuffs.

So, which do you think will be louder; the people crying Agent Provocateurs, the people hurriedly disclaiming that those incidents representative of their totally "united" movement, or the deafening silence as these are largely ignored?

Miss Anderson, incidentally, looks almost exactly like the stereotypical lesbian Women's Studies major. All she needs is some facial piercings.

Okay, okay. I will reassert that these incidents are likely to be ignored or rationalized by the greater body of the Occupy movement. I may not agree with the movement, but I find it rather worrying that there seems to be little concern for the safety of Occupiers and those staying in their camps. Almost all of the content they seem content to put out, some of it little more than propaganda, seems to be concerned with their own self-aggrandizement and martyrdom.
