UFOs: The Research, the Evidence

No, "you-foe" is a pronunciation promoted by "ufologists" in both countries for some reason. It seems to be one of the many quirks they use to attempt to pass off "ufology" as a legitimate science.
(bolding mine)

How is that supposed to work?

Admittedly there are a lot of kooks; ufology in it's raw form is a science of determining the truth of unidentified flying objects/unrecognized objects
which peak our curiosity and interest. Science is the term i use to legitimize
exploration of the unknown, too research and uncover verifiable facts that we must ascertain. We all speculate and i personally understand how speculation and any hypothesis is of no interest until researched and equated to be true.

Good luck!

:)

I thought that was how you were informed something was possible in Texas.
:D
I LOL'ed at that comment. I had to say "you kay un" first and imagine I was from Texas.

Isn't it annoying how 'LOL' has entered every day speak these days?

Welcome to the Forum Pithawg.

Where you from?

Have you got anything which you think equates to the truth of UFOs as Alien Spaceships?

Sorry I interrupted you.

Carry on Searching...

Welcome

The UFO community is a circus where speculation becomes part of the mythology that pervades it. There are a number of sites trying to find the truth behind sightings of unidentified flying objects. These are run by skeptics. The saucer proponents are only interested perpetuating mysteries into which they can install their extraterrestrials myth.

So, another few days?
Lots of daemons and bunnies, but no fairie tail or evidence of ET. :(

Btw: I don't think a single computer game will change the ufo/abduction stories, the "Alien" movies haven't.

Of course, it is, we keep finding it and posting it here in this thread.

Blimps
Fireflies
Anomalous Propagation
Lighthouses
Hoaxes
Squid Boats
Venus
Fire Balls
Reflections

This list isn't comprehensive but one item which is conspicuous by it's absence is 'aliens'.
Someone should convince rramjet to come back, it's hard for you to find incentive to create gay blimps, etc.

P.S. It was a blimp

Sideroxylon,

I've talked to many people about their childhood experiences; experiences that they believe were real and yet extraordinary. I believe certain people have these experiences and that they are unexplained. I realize how woo it sounds, but I don't care. Why should I or anyone else be embarrased or ashamed to describe something they experienced as a child? I share my story because perhaps if I come forward, other people will not feel awkward sharing their experiences with me. I find them fascinating and very interesting ... it's a world view that we adults forget exists.

I have no problem with you sharing your anecdotes. I just don't believe they qualify as scientific evidence.

How shallow I am... it was never Rramjet that provided the incentive, it was and remains this;
