Last Friday we went to Eildon for lunch and came home through the Yarra Ranges. I stopped and took a few happy snaps just down the road from the Black Spur Inn at a place called Fernshaw.

There's a quite substantial creek running down this gully, but I was worried about bunyips so I stayed up near the road

Those photos remind me of sights seen in one of many trips of mine to Augusta here in the West. These were taken on a very cheap little camera that I've since broken. They will resize shortly.

I just found Augusta on Google Earth. Right down on the SW corner of Australia. Looks like very interesting country. I have seen very little of WA. None until I visited my brother in Perth last year. He is in London now but he got did some nice trips with his family in all directions from Perth.
 
I've travelled to a fair few places around this state, most are lovely areas. Walpole is pretty.
