The last time anyone posted this, a Truther friend came on and started demanding to know how many of these have you actually read implying many of them were actually produced by researchers who believe this 9/11 Truth slop. This is why I doubt that much of what you see on the grassroots-level of 9/11 Truth is cognitive dissonance. Some of it is just outright deception aimed at causal readers without much knowledge.

That's because NIST are an authority in of it itself. No twoofer organization comes anywhere near that status so you have to get past a real peer review process with a respected journal first. As has already been mentioned, most of these have nothing to do with any discussion of the collapse mechanism of WTC. Where they do, they do not agree. Some of them have nothing to do with any engineering analysis at all. Some of them don't even mention the WTC. Some of them have been repeated in this list. :rolleyes:

So our friendly Truther friends here on the JREF, they tell ya', "Hay, how do you know a log cabin designer isn't qualified to comment on the collapse of the tallest building in the world hit by a loaded jumbo jet flying at 600mph?" And then they'll tell ya', "Hay, that list of hundreds of research papers about 9/11...I bet ya' lots of them are written by Truther engineers and you don't know." And then they'll tell ya', "Hay, that NIST place, it's just a bunch crap guys making up stuff 'cause that Bush guy told them to."

And they really say this stuff. Do these guys think this really sounds less crazy that Anders Lindman claiming there's really no space shuttle? Do they think this sounds convincing to anyone? Surely they must realize how retarded this sounds?

This fact apparently doesn't embarrass bedunkers at all. I guess that shouldn't suprise us.
