How can "911 truth" be "the truth" when there are over 100 competing and even contradictory variations on what "the truth" is, who did it, how they did, and why they did it?

The fact that none of them can even get their story straight, along with the terrible behavior and tactics that 911 cults and their members use to spread and defend their stories, is indicative of people that clearly are not telling the truth.

Been wondering that very same thing since the dolt at work said Nostradamus predicted this about a 1/2 hour after it happened. They've done nothing but come up with contradictory statements ever since.

When someone has to tell you they're telling the truth, they most likely are telling you their version of it. An important distinction "truthers" will never grasp.

It's more a "Search For The Truth About 9/11 Which Definately Isn't What The Man Wants You To Think It Is" which admittedly is a bit much for a t-shirt(bumper sticker, banner, what-have-you).

The main reason for using the word "truth" is the standard propaganda trick of commandeering a word to the cause. Whether that be for good reasons or not so good. Take for example the meaning change associated with "gay" after it was commandeered to a (good) cause. In this case I doubt the truthers will ever succeed in changing the word "truth" to be a synonym for "lie" - but don't most of us regular members look twice when we see "truth" on these threads to see if in fact is is being used as a euphemism for "lie". And do we avoid using the word in these threads because it has been contaminated - I certainly think twice before I use it here.

A second reason is the use of meaning reversals. How many times do the deniers of reality - i.e. truthers - refer to debunkers as "denialists". I won't try to recall the many other examples of "role reversal accusations".
