See what I mean? The guy looks a lot like that X-Files character who ate roadkill.
Sheesh. Make one little mistake. Upper class. The poor hardly needed such a reason to do anything.
Prostitution was ALWAYS legal in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Greece. (Also Germany, except in Eastern part under Communism.) Provide evidence these countries are okay with incest.
I thought France was the one first-world country where incest was legal, because Napoleon thought those laws were some silly rest from Christian morals.
Of course, that had nothing to do with prostitution.

The brother gave the sister money for the deed, to me this would indicate a level of control, the same kind of control one has when one gives a child a new toy for doing well in school or the like. And would indicate to me that this has been going on for quite some time.
IBut....something most people FORGET.....is that Abraham was the BROTHER of Sarah....it was true....not just a pretence to fleece Pharaoh (Gen 12:13).
It was? Where on earth do you get that from?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SarahSarah was the wife of Abraham, as well as being his half-sister, the daughter of his father Terah (Genesis 20:12). The Talmud [2] identifies Sarai with Iscah, daughter of Abraham's deceased brother Haran (Genesis 11:29), so that Sarah turns out to be the niece of Abraham and the sister of Lot and Milcah. She was considered beautiful to the point that Abraham feared that when they were near more powerful rulers she would be taken away and given to another man. Twice he purposefully identified her as being only his sister so that he would be "treated well" for her sake.
The point of course is that those who predicted what would happen with divorce or civil unions were right about their predictions, whatever else one can say of them.

But I thought prostitution was just a business deal between two consenting adults?
Obviously you did not. Everyone else here knew that.It was? Where on earth do you get that from?
Oh, and something else: prostitution was "legal and normal" in Germany for the last 800 years? Who knew?
Which is fine, if it's only chips....Possibly in Belgium.

Interesting that the article only says the brother was put on the sex offenders register, and not the sister.
Why would anyone be put on the sex offenders register when no crime was committed? Last I looked, sex between two consenting adults was still legal, though it is - in certain contexts like that outlined here - somewhat icky.

Incest is illegal in England and Wales.
