The debris that hit the Winter Garden was knocked loose late in the collapse of the tower. There were no buildings in the way to break up that multi-floor stack of columns, such as there was between the north tower and WTC 7.

If you put it all together....the impossibility of the 4-ton chunk being eiected by explosives 600 feet away from WTC1 (almost the distance of two football fields end-to-end) and the equal unliklihood of it being carried there by a falling wall you are forced to consider that it may have been transported and deliberately planted there.

Supporting this is the fact that we know that the Winter Garden building suffered total collapse for no good reason other than the possibility that the 4-ton chunk somehow struck down the building . Also there appear to be no other examples of similar sized chunks having been thrown to that distance anywhere else in the debris field of WTC1.

So was the 4-ton chunk planted there to provide an explanation for a covert controlled demolition of the Winter Garden ?

Your input continues to be pathetic despite your self professed life experience.

It a joke that you don't EXPLOSION here.

Clayton,
Just curious... On 9/11 it never occurred to me that bombs were placed in the building. As I said I just thought planes, fires, collapse, horror. Real visceral and simple. I did talk to one 9/11 truth person who on that day said to herself, planes, fires, collapse, something's very wrong here I think the US government did it. But most people's first gut response was more like mine. Do you remember your very first impressions on 9/11 of what you were seeing before anyone suggested CD? Be honest now. Not trying to win a debating point here, just curious what all of our our first impressions were. Others on both sides welcome to chime in with their first visceral responses as well.

The Winter garden was damaged not "totally collapsed" and the wall section that hit it is simply the top one of the set that is lying across road and also hung on the damaged building to the north.

So was the 4-ton chunk planted there to provide an explanation for a covert controlled demolition of the Winter Garden ?

This is all just a joke to you............3000 die and you makes jokes about it.....

I wasn't home and didn't watch any of the collapses live on TV. I heard it from internet news first (chiefly cnn.com, spiegel.de). I remember that there was initial confusion as to the extent of the collapse - people thought that behind the dust clouds hopefully ... probably ... possibly ... major parts of the towers were left standing.

I remember that I was quite surprised and slightly incredulous that the towers should have collapsed all the way down, but CD never crossed my mind that day, or the next, and possibly not until years after. I truly do not recall when somebody first suggested CD, but it certainly was not my own thought, ever. I had seen CDs before on TV, and only vaguely remembered details (top-down? bottom-up? how much dust? flashes?), but I knew they took weeks of preperation, and came with very impressively loud BANGs. Having seen the planes and the fires, it always occurred to me as plausible and inevitable that planes and fires were to blame.

I knew planes and fire did it before the buildings were even done collapsing.

10 years later, and I've yet to be proven wrong. Come on Clayton and the rest of you ilk. Prove it.

So when i have a gun and work a lot with a gun, i do understand the chemical substance of nano-thermite?

OW MY....
You misunderstand. This is the rough equivalent of telling a guy who has years of experience making bullets that he has no idea how gunpowder works.

I see you've been to the Ergo School of Internet Debate, and taken the Argument by One Liner class.

:triplefacepalm:
And Argument by Snide Non-factual Dismissal.

It seems Dan Rather was one of the few network commentators who didn't get the "no explosions" word.

The energy to get a body moving from zero to some velocity v is given by:

E = 0.5 m v2
Plug in your mass (remember, in the US mass units are slugs, which equal weight / g), and you get the energy that you have to give it.

Thanks for explaining this!

:)

So, I am using someone else's numbers. They say that a 4 ton piece of steel was ejected at 50mph from the towers based on their calcs. I used a conversion tool to get that 4 tons (US) is equal to 248.64760103582 slugs.

So the equation would be E = 0.5 * 248.64760103582 (Slugs)* 50 (MPH)2? Is hat correct or am I totally off base?

like this one......and there was an explosion at the pentagon.....thousands of gallons of jet fuel and a KE impact equivalent to a lot of TNT. The shock wave was felt by many witnesses (who also saw, wait for it, a plane).

How many times does it have to be explained to you? It was trains that brought the towers down

Nicholas Borrillo -- Firefighter (F.D.N.Y.) on 23rd floor of North Tower:
Then we heard a rumble. We heard it and we felt the whole building shake. It was like being on a train, being in an earthquake. A train is more like it, because with the train you hear the rumbling, and it kind of like moved you around in the hall.

Paul Curran -- Fire Patrolman (F.D.N.Y.) North Tower:
I went back and stood right in front of Eight World Trade Center right by the customs house, and the north tower was set right next to it. Not that much time went by, and all of a sudden the ground just started shaking. It felt like a train was running under my feet.

Joseph Fortis -- E.M.T. (E.M.S.) T]he ground started shaking like a train was coming. You looked up, and I guess -- I don't know, it was one that came down first or two? Which one?

Keith Murphy -- (F.D.N.Y.) [Engine 47] At the time, I would have said they sounded like bombs, but it was boom boom boom and then the lights all go out. I hear someone say oh, s___, that was just for the lights out. I would say about 3, 4 seconds, all of a sudden this tremendous roar. It sounded like being in a tunnel with the train coming at you.

Timothy Julian -- Firefighter (F.D.N.Y.) [Ladder 118] You know, and I just heard like an explosion and then cracking type of noise, and then it sounded like a freight train, rumbling and picking up speed, and I remember I looked up, and I saw it coming down.

Really Bill. Watch this video.

What do you seeing falling to the right of WTC1 between :11 and :16 in that video? Would that be a perimeter column wall falling away from the tower proper? Does it look like that section of the perimeter column wall reached 600 ft away?

How about this "wall falling piece" that you say is "highly unlikely"?

Units, units, units ..!

A convenient unit of measure for energy is foot pounds, where pounds is a force measurement.

The mass is 4 tons = 4 (2000 lbs)/(32.2 ft/sec2) = 8000/32.2 lb sec2/ft.

To multiply this correctly, you've got to convert mph into ft/sec. Then when you square it, you see that (lb sec2/ft) (ft2 / sec2) gives you ft-lbs.

I'll leave it to you to work that out. Don't want to ruin all your fun.

This is both a unit of work and energy.

Once you've got it in that unit, then it's easy to convert to any other unit. Use a unit conversion table. IIRC, 1 ft-lb is about equal to 1.3 Joules for example. (Don't trust me on that number, tho. Look it up.)

Oh my Gawd! A Train!!! I'm shutting down all 20 of my YouTube videos right now!! These eyewitnesses have given me the proof I've always needed!! A train brought down the towers!!

When I was in high school that rumor of Beatle Paul McCartney being dead was circulating around. I helped edit the school paper and I wrote an article "proving" that in fact Ringo Starr was dead. And you know, I was able to collect as much evidence of Ringo's death as the Paul is Dead people were able to conjure up about Paul's death. It taught me something right away: the incredible ability of the human mind to justify any belief.

But you know, there were train tracks right under the WTC Towers.... and reports of fires and explosions in the basement and lower floors... and I have just calculated that a train loaded with nanothermites could generate 69 bajillion joules of energy (I should know I'm a theologian)... and those things on top of the rail cars that take in coal or grains or whatever... it would be easy to reverse their direction and have them shoot stuff UP the elevator shafts... and these eyewitness reports are undeniable... hmmm....
