You personally might not be tempted to join in, perhaps. But if a prominent opponent of the TM was to be accused of similar offences (or any offence for that matter) you would surely agree it would be plastered all over the various TM fora?

The relevance is that a celebrated member of 9/11 "truth" is accused of the very activities you abhor. And this forum, in the main, is dedicated to the discussion of various conspiracies about 9/11 and the proponents thereof. As such the relevance is immediately apparent.

I am well aware of at least one opponent of the TM (a member here), who has been convicted of criminal activity, and I have never referred to it as a basis for a counter argument of their position.

You fail to explain the "relevance", and how it is immediately apparent?

Its not quite Gage getting arrested with an underage hooker at A&E911s expense but its close.

and of course we can add the fact that a twoofer is much more likely to be charged with a sex crime than an engineer is to sign A&E911 petition:D

it is, off course,part of the big conspiracy :D

There's no baby to throw out with the bathwater. The baby died years ago due to ignorant parenting. Now we're just laughing at the twoofers, and this particular twoofer deserves everything that's coming to him.

How is commenting that the charges with which the fellow has been charged are, indeed, serious, a "smear campaign" in any way, shape or form? They are serious charges, would you not agree?

I notice he applied for a jury trial, but I can't tell from the dockets whether he got one. If he did, I doubt there would be a result yet if it started on the 26th August.

It also says in the dockets (and in your pic) that he's under house arrest.

In the old days - 1970's and farther back, you'd be correct.

Today, guy goes in on a sex charge (any) and unless he's a snitch or moves on the wrong inmate, he does his time like anyone else.

If the guy goes to a medical treatment facility (likely in first offense cases)he'll not only be "safe," he'll learn all the jargon he'll need to be a successful future offender.

That could be, but it seems rather odd that he would quote my post to make that particular point if that was actually the point that he intended to make. I have no idea what his post is supposed to mean because his comment is so cryptic.

So, I'll ask directly. MM: Is Triterope correct in his interpretation of your cryptic comment? If so, please advise and expand on the intended meaning of your post. If not, please clarify what it was you intended to convey with that post.

Phil Jayhan over at Let's Roll is claiming that this is supreme irony since Manny and Super-Willy Rodriguez called him a paedophile recently. Various blogs and posts say "scroll down" but I can't find any such comments.

Does anyone recall what the hell he's talking about? I know he went after Willy with a figurative axe a while back and assume Manny came to Willy's aid, but I'm just gathering that from comments made and would be curious to see the dust-up in its full glory. (I do so love when the TM devours its own.)

For those who are wondering what the relevance is, I'll explain.

Mr. Badillo has made himself a public figure by becoming a spokesperson for organizations such as WeAreStrange, lolbuildingwut?, NYCCAN'T and AE911Troof. He did so by by hitching his star to the memory of his dead uncle, who was killed at the World Trade Center. If he was just another anonymous internet truther then nobody would've noticed, but he put himself out there and this thread is a direct consequence of that.

But, and I cannot stress enough that this is completely unsubstantiated, it's been said that Mr. Badillo's own stepmother reported him to the authorities. If this is the case then it's food for thought because that strongly suggests that the victim(s) are either immediate or extended family (perhaps both) and by definition, 9/11 Family Members themselves.*

This is extraordinary because it would paint a picture of a man who, if guilty, clearly couldn't give a rat's ass less about his own family and will be going to prison for literally doing what he's been figuratively doing to them for years.

If he's not guilty then I'll happily drop this and simply re-categorize him as just another liar.
