Better brace yourself for my not reading it.Better brace yourself for my next wall of text
Somebody wake me up if anything worthwhile emerges.

take a shot at my argument drewid. Let's see if you can debunk the truth. Not my truth, THE truth.
Better brace yourself for my not reading it.

According to you:
Yet then:
You are still avoiding the question asked.
If the few at the top hoodwinked the 400,000 scientists and engineers into designing and building and testing a working spaceship, capable of bringing 3 astronauts to the moon and back, why did they not use t was done with an unmanned craft.
Since the astronauts were not on the moon, they feared lasers. Not necessarily just "our own" ruby red laser at Lick Observatory, but any laser. You see, others could not take a picture of the landing site to prove or disporve the landing's authenticity, but they could shine light from the earth, and just like the argon laser filmed/photographed in 1968 by surveyor VII, it would be anticipated for a laser image to appear in astronaut filmings/photos, if they were shots that included the earth at a time when anybody's laser was fired.
This by the way is why Alan Bean purposely breaks the tv camera during the Apollo 12 mission. Because everyone including the Russians and French know those guys are supposed to be at the Surveyor 3 site. It can easily be targeted. If the Russians or French or whomever shoot a laser of any type, one at least as bright and visible as the 1968 Surveyor VII filmed argon laser, then the light should appear in video, photos of the earth.
Astronauts feared stars because to see stars was to admit to being able to see lasers, and lasers of any sort would be expected to show up on imaging. The astronauts were never on the moon. so the absence of these images would prove Apollo bogus. More, with good detail and references galore to follow abaddon.

Is anybody going to tell Patrick that, in general, lasers in real life aren't like they are in the movies and need filters in order to be viewed?

Why? His misconceptions provide amusement.
The opning point excaza is that surveyor VII did film a laser, so laser light would be expected to show up on the videos. It had already been done with a very weak laser.
Aldrin did see a laser. Try this, pop "laser" into the search functuion for the Apollo 11 voice transcript. Aldrin sees the laser just after they leave the moon. He is quized about it by Houston on day 6 of the journey. I would quote it for you but gotta' run.
Same for you abaddon . It is easy for you to find the surveyor VII argon laser pictures on the net. Also, as above, Aldrin saw a laser from the EAgle and Armstrong confirmed the sighting later to Houston.
Follow the steps I gave above for the search and you will see this to be true. I would do it for you but gotta' go.
finally, note how the astronauts see the laser when they do not have a tv or photo camera in their hands while they are supposed to actually be on the surface of the moon. they claim to see a laser later, when imaging of it would not be expected. much much much more on this with excellent referencing later.

Better brace yourself for my next wall of text .
All this laser chatter yet still you avoid the simple question.
If all the engineers and scientists build a fully working spacecraft, why did they not simply go?
Same for you abaddon . It is easy for you to find the surveyor VII argon laser pictures on the net.

Life is to short to waste time reading your screeds of nonsense.
