Couldn't resist this one last one before I step on the plane. You don't believe me? Go and look at that Apollohoax thread. You'll find this idiotic presentation based on a Voice Transcript quote indicating the Capsule communicator and Armstrong/Aldrin were discussing the Tranquility Base coordinates ; pretty much as we have been discussing them, numbers just a tad different from 00 41 15 n and 23 26 00 east. The laugh your keester off aspect of it was, the numbers came from a discussion having to do with a launch trajectory and the numbers were in fact numbers referring to a P76 program which is a VELOCITY CHANGE program. Has nothing to do with a position. AND, if that is insane enough, "fattydash" said he was crying over this discovery or something like that. AND if that was double insane enough, the guys and gals debating "Fattydash" were intimidated by all this jive. I honestly think they believed he was correct too, correct in the assertion the P76 numbers were the Tranquility Base coordinates. JAY UTAH HIMSELF WAS DEBATING "FATTYDASH" with respect to this nonsense, and when I read it for the first time, a buddy of mine and I laughed so hard, we both literally were doubled over in pain giggling. THE MIGHTY SWORD OF APOLLO TRUTH JAY UTAH NO LESS. We thought it was so so so so FUNNY. And if you don't believe me, go read that thread over there with the same title as mine. I'm sure you've misunderstood deliberately. The nonsense that I'm referring to is not that thread, but you claiming not to be Fattydash, when it's blindingly obvious that you are one and the same just from posting style alone.

Don't believe I've ever CRIED over this stuff, and I make number mistakes, but rarely. On the other hand, I am a butt kicking writer and can vary my style at will and am good at copying other people's style(s), so maybe I AM FATTYDASH. LOL! I read somewhere somebody thought fattydash was Jarrah White. Never read his writing, let me check it out, maybe I could fake that too. LOL. You guys give me too much credit. But I must say I love it. Ciao!

Please review Flight international Magazine from 21 August 1969, the article is THE EAGLE'S ROOST by Angus MacPherson, page 302 halfway down;

"The last reading given on the Eagle DSKY(display keyboard) before touchdown was Lat 0 41' 15" N and Long 23 26' 00 " E. This compared with the centre of the landing ellipse of Site 2 (12.2 miles long by 3.1 miles wide) at 00 42' 50" N; 23 42' 28" E. Finally cleared up by lunar scientists pinpointing from the film of the descent which Apollo 11 brought back, it is now given a lunar map reference of 520m west and 115m north of the centre of West Crater."

And you fellas thought I was bluffing. AND I got more. Would seem we got a report here of Armstrong with the coordinates well before Michael Collins started his bogus little sextant charade, well before poor FIDO David Reed started in with his difficult morning , what about 18 hours after this? Why didn't Armstrong just give the coordinates to Reed, would have saved the poor sap a lot of time?
