Now that we've come this far, race is an arbitrary distinction with very little meaning. The perception of differences seem real and the cultural differences are real but in the end culture is only a social construct.
We are all human beings. We all bleed, die, suffer, morn and we all can improve each others lives by contributing to society and caring for one another. There's a lot of baggage from our history so we try and make some allowances like reverse discrimination and being less sensitive for the perceived and arbitrary "race" of whites than we are for blacks. Sadly these have unintended consequences but we do the best we can.
Focusing on the slights of white as a group is not likely to yield much in the way of progress. I would focus more on specific inequalities and injustice and let society find it's way as best it can. Think of yourself as a member of the human race and not some arbitrary distinction like the color of your skin.
