Why can't whites be as racist as Malcolm X

I see you are ignorant of Malcolm X, educate yourself.

I am still concerned for your health, many people can be raqcists and prejudiced, blacks do not have any privilege that whites do not.

Race is a social more with no real correlate in reality. The variation within a population is usually higher than between them.

In what way am I ignorant of Malcolm X?

Why are you concerned with my health? My physical health is fine.

Let me be the first to say that Malcom changed and basically recanted his views in the final year of his life. All the below from his wiki.

This may be true but the street Ns today see him a proud Black man willing to take on the White power establishment. He is admired today because of his militancy.

We do, that's why we try to stop what racism we can. Just as we try to stop other bad things that may always be with us.

Why stop racism? I mean really, why?

The only reason you are White is because you parents were racists.

I hope for the day when the color of a person's skin will be as relevant as the color of his or her eyes.

The notion that viewpoints, positions or policies that deal with race are either good or either bad is simply irrational. As the second poster said, it depends on context and I would add the intent and perceptions of the individual with the viewpoint.

Were Malcolm X's early views about white people irrational and counter productive? I think that largely they were. Can I understand those views from the light of a black man living under the oppression of whites who held a near monopoly of power (President and the administration, congress, judicial system, corporate business owners, etc.)? Yes.

The problem I have with the OP is not that it is vacuous, the problem I have is that it lacks any and all nuance. In a perfect world, yeah. But in a perfect world it wouldn't be an issue at all.

Why stop racism? I mean really, why?
Because it is arbitrary and irrational. It would make as much sense as judging people based on their hair color.

The only reason you are White is because you parents were racists.
What does being "white" mean? Why is that characteristic important to you? Are you the individual who has posted links to Stormfront in the past? That's not an attempt to discredit you just trying to find some context?

Your OP lacks context. Malcolm X died in 1965. In 1965 there were plenty of whites who thrived on the public approval of their very overt racism. People ran for governors of states on Segregationist tickets, and won. Some ran for president. Some ran for the U.S. Senate. Strom Thurmond did all of the above, won at everything but the run for president, set records for longevity in Congress, and he's only been gone for less than a decade.

If you can't remember segregated schools, restaurants, movie theaters, hotels, bathrooms, even drinking fountains then you cannot understand the mindset of those times, half a century ago.

Try comparing people from the same era.

Better times the 1950s and early 1960s.

You are rather mistaken!

The world has always recognized that racism exists, and there has never been a question about that fact.

However, what to do about the racism is what has vexed the world for quite some time now. In fact, I would say that the question as to what to do about racism question is a problem that has plagued humans ever since humans have come to be the dominate species of the world.

Are you serious?
Worrying about racism is a modern Twentieth Century phenomenon. The American pioneers and all before them did not worry about racism.

The whole premise is just kind of stupid. Normal whites might not go around saying proud to be white but they sure go around saying proud to be Irish, proud to be Italian, proud to be German etc. Unlike American whites who know for the most part where their ancestors came from black Americans many times do not have that knowledge because of the way they where brought to this country and treated until the 1860s.

Often they don’t know who their father is.

In the long term it gets a bit muddied, as it was a lot more along cultural, ethnic and religious lines than what we would now define as racial. Remember the Irish only became white in the 20th century or so.

The Irish have always been white. In fact some are the whitest of white.

Spoken as a true cultural Marxist.
Rhetorical, ad hominem. Do you have anything to rebut the claim? Can you show that the claim is exclusively Marxists (culturally or otherwise)?
