Gage is babbling incoherently most of the time. He lost all credibility when he did the box drop schtick. If he cannot grasp the difference between two homogenous and undamaged objects colliding and two objects of various connected pieces, some of them misaligned before impact, he is not much of an architect.

There is also that stunt he pulled with his editing of the Philips demolition video, where he edited out some of the explosive sounds so that all we heard was a bunch of clattering beams and columns and floors, just like in the WTC 7 collapse.

He is of rather poor moral character, to judge by that.

As for his "conversion" of the "engineers," it is highly unlikely that any engineer who has heard of him and tested any of his blather against their own experience would bother adding the price of their admission tickets to his touring budget.

Any engineer dim enough to still think that he has something to teach them is probably also dim enough to believe that he had proven something.

When you go into a lecture like this with your mind too open, there is the chance that some vital part will fall out and one of little Dicky's fantasies will fall in to mark the spot.
 
The really galling part is that there are people who think that some boxes* are physically representative of a 110-story skyscraper.

There are videos on YT with people trying similar experiments with ice and cinderblocks. When I commented on them, bringing up such things as the square-cube law, I was brushed aside as irrelevant.

When mummy does everything for you, such as your washing, cooking, ironing, buys your clothes and xbox games then it's natural for truthers to expect other people to do the work whilst they get on with the real job of watching youtube and spouting crap on the internet.
 
Sure do wish Clayton would come back and regale us with his insights into structural engineering and all that mathy/physicy stuff....

I saw a video once of someone that had stacked 110 VCR cassettes and claimed it was the same as the tower..........have not been able to find it in a while.
 
In this post on Gothamist (large no of comments may cause temporary browser freezing) from a few months back you can see the standard Truther tactics. I especially like SD enumerating them, and their absolute refusal to produce concrete evidence no matter how many times he points it out. Also, Christopher7 comments a few times.

Really? You found some who would actually commit themselves to a minimum number, and place it this high (20,000)??

I doubt she'd say it on this thread, but yes, at least one woman I talked with started spouting off conscious complicity among entire media operations, entire government agencies, etc etc etc. I said that you must be looking at thousands, maybe even tens of thousands of people and she said yes that's right they're all in on it. Others have implied vast numbers but you're right, people tend to back down from counting out the exact predicted numbers because when they start, the numbers begin to look ridiculous. Hence my suggested exercise in this video!

The FBI imposed ver 200.000 gag-orders in the US between 2003 and 2006. The figures for 2001-2002 are unavailable but I suspect that they would be way more than would be needed.
