High explosives for oil & gas industry

Perforating charges are currently used in casing guns, through tubing guns and tubing conveyed guns for oil well completion. The permanent goal for oil drilling companies is to increase the yield of oil wells: this is achieved thanks to heat resistant explosives, which are used at great depth to clear the way for the oil.

Indeed, heat resistance is an important quality for explosives used for perforating deep oil wells, since the temperature in a drilled hole increases with the depth. In that way, EURENCO works in close partnership with shaped charge manufacturers and produces heat resistant explosives suited for the oil industry and also used in the gas industry:

This is the beginning of the conspiracy, dood. If you can't prove the explosives can survive, you can't prove they were used. Period.

Now you will of course tell us what temp range this would be, right?
"High" heat is a subjective thing after all.(Where I live 35o/sup]C is a brutally hot daytime "high" temp.)
 
I linked CM to a PDF (a US Army FM) a few weeks back that explained how explosives worked in general and even gave him some specific chapters to read that dealt with the issues that would have to be dealt with in all of the WTC buildings. Apparently he ignored me.

Truthers say explosives until you inform them that explosives need an explosive train that has a weak link at the detonators (they are very sensitive to heat and shock) and that no sounds of explosives were heard (which is inherent in how they work). Then they say that it was some form of therm*te instead. When it's pointed out to them that it takes a huge amount of thermite to cut through vertical steel columns and a mechanism to keep it held against the steel long enough to do its work they switch over to a combination of the two without stopping to think that they've just doubled the issues and not erased any.

Then they go back to it being explosives and 'round we go again. The insane ones go to mini nukes and space beams.

They still won't say how these magic devices managed to be placed and concealed in a working office building with NOBODY (from security officers to office workers to janitorial staff to maintenance men) noticing anything strange going on or suspicious items lying around.
 
Reviewing this thread, it has become the mosh pit of all things 9/11 related. There are many other 9/11 threads, covering a wide array of topics - use them.

This thread is for general 9/11 discussions NOT covered in other threads, not all things 9/11. If this thread continues to be the dumping ground for all 9/11 discussion, it will be summarily closed.

Your definition of general discussion would be what exactly? If this is a general discussion would that not be multiple general topics? I'm not trying to be disrespectful to a mod, but I'm confused as to your problem with this thread.

I think that finding 9/11 subjects NOT covered in other threads would be pretty difficult. In that case this general discussion thread would not be all that general.

There's a "theory" that the buildings were really empty. Pretty daffy, I ran into it at Icke.
