Unless I'm mistaken, that would be the same series of videos that claimed to debunk the burning of bodies in pits by hastily constructing a camp-fire in a hole and concluding it was impossible based on that fact alone, right?

Right now, I'd like to see a link to a photograph of these uber cremators and some specs regarding how much fuel it sucked up on a daily basis. Is that too much to ask?

A quick business trip has put me about five pages behind in this discussion again so maybe this question of yours has been answered by now. If not, I think the answers to the questions you have can be found in Pressac's AUSCHWITZ: Technique and Operation of the Gas Chambers

This seems to be the go-to source for any questions regarding the technology of the gas chambers and crematorium. Read it and it will help you understand why revisionism exists.

Not true. I can't speak for all but I LOVE Pressac's work. I think it should be required reading for anybody studying the holocaust. It's too bad it's easier to buy one of the original copies of the Declaration of Independence than it is to find a print copy of this book.
 
I'd like specific examples of what in Pressac's Technique you find unconvincing. Specific, please.

I think Gene still owes us his list of good points made by deniers in this thread. He needn't explain why he thinks they are good, as he didn't with the Comedy video, as we can certainly ask about why and chase him for a few pages to find out.

Hans deconstructed the Comedy video neatly at CODOH before the bold free-expression advocates who run that place deleted this analysis.

I wonder if the kind of open expression and debate that happens in the heavily censored CODOH is the kind of dialogue and exchange of ideas which Gene Alley has in mind when he gets on his high horse about anti-hate-speech laws.

There is no urgency. Take your time, catch up to the present day first and then post again. In fact if you had any sense at all you'd remain silent.

In one of my replies to Gene Alley I wrote: "Asked and answered. Probably most easily accessible - referenced repeatedly in this thread Pressac, van Pelt (books and HDOT report) not a bad place to start, if you were really starting."

Start with Pressac, not just one book but examine his own later writings and revisions, keep reading and you'll understand why Holocaust denial still remains an irrelevant -obnoxious- fringe.

You can't even be trusted to accurately summarize comments from a single thread made hours earlier. Why do you think you have anything to contribute to a history book?

Of course Gene Alley didn't take the advice either. He came back shortly after and posted a link to videos with content that will turn off any rational member of the audience within seconds while presenting nothing but incoherent views of history to those who actually manage to get past the opening comments.

Read the comments out loud in an ugly voice "I'm sorry but the Germans wouldn't have ... "

I learned after the war the fate of those who had stayed behind in the hospital. They were quite simply liberated by the Russians two days after the evacuation.

Arguably, no. The deniers mis-use, mistatement and mis-understanding of the evidence is, at best, wilful ignorance and is mostly a dodge to provide a platform for their nazi/anti-semetic views. Sort of like polishing dog **** and calling it a jewel.

I read on some genealogy website that the three most popular "Jewish" surnames in the United States are Cohen, Levy, and Miller. And there was a "Rosenberg" among the Nuremberg defendants. You can't really judge a person's Jewishness by their name.
