I commented on the video Noah posted, in which the author starts the count 5.8 seconds before the east penthouse collapse. :rolleyes:

Yours doesn't make much difference. The collapse of the building as a whole took 7 - 8 secs.

What's interesting about your obsession with the east penthouse is you never question why it should crumple like that, and then why the entire building descends as a whole as if into quicksand two seconds later.

Most videos do, mainly because of the angle. The FOIA video released by NIST to IC911 had that segment cut out of it. Sloppily. Why do suppose that is?

That's the count for the entire video itself, so viewers can be more precise than "one-one-hundred, two one-hundred".

At a guess, I'd say the building collapsing had something to do with the building collapsing.

And no, the building does not "descend as a whole". The East Penthouse, which is part of the building, had already descended.

What was your count, ergo? What are the timestamps of the start and end of the collapse in those two videos? I note your lack of response to my post asking for those simple numbers. Afraid to offer actual evidence instead of incredulity?

No one is compelling you to stay here. I certainly don't recommend it. If you want quiet serious discussion you can go elsewhere, like the 911 forum.

Perhaps you just need a better quality monitor for your computer? He starts it right when it visibly starts. I added a few seconds myself because the penthouse can't collapse without the building underneath collapsing. Remove my added 5 seconds, and you still get nearly 18.

No, I don't think so.

I did have problems loading it, though. For a 3:16 min. video where the first 30 seconds is text, it sure requires a long time to load. Any idea why that might be?
 
It is amazing how Ergo keeps missing my requests for timestamps, and refuses to explain why the east penthouse isn't considered part of the building for his countdown. I highlighted stuff n' everything!

It's like he's deliberately misunderstanding that a whole is made of parts. Seemingly with the intent of frustrating other posters here. I swear there is a term for such people...

Oh no, denying the EP is part of the collapse sequence is much more interesting, fascinating really. I'd say it might 'crumple like that' if the interior structure beneath it could no longer support its load and started to...you know...collapse.
