It wasn't Hush a Boom, it was thermally accelerated acid. But one of you already knew that. The hydrogen gas would melt steel in the ground. The acid reaction doesn't generate enough heat to melt steel directly.

The building may have been prepped for a conventional insurance scam. The chemical acid (sulfur based?) is applied as a (jell?) to the heat insulation in the core areas of the building and along the elevator shafts. At room temperature the reaction is very slow. This would also give off a minor sulfur smell which would be masked later by burning electrical insulation and other materials.

WTC 7 was how it was supposed to work, no one was killed in WTC 7.

They didn't know about the planes. This was supposed to be a regular torch job. Securacom has Israeli connections but seemed to operating as a purely criminal enterprise.

Oh, you say the construction industry in NEW YORK CITY is squeaky clean. They would not have any problems deceiving a lone investigator, or several.

The people (mostly volunteers at first) who were analyzing the steel were kept off site.

This was a criminal enterprise up to their neck in something that they didn't understand.

A lot of people were involved in organized crime?...Ok. The history of organized crime members has always shown they are extremely loyal to their families and friends. When they do something criminal, it's under the guise of "just business" and not personal. The 9/11 attacks were way out of their realm of "just business" and these were personal attacks against the country in which they love, live, and operate. Organized crime members tend to have a respect for the American way of life and that was attacked that day. These mobsters were probably as pissed if not more pissed about 9/11 than your average American in my opinion. I guarantee many of these organized crime members lost people they knew that day, so it doesn't fit into the scheme at all in my opinion. You act like the entire human race can be paid off if the price is right, and that simply is not true.

As much as I have to say it, I am learning from you people.

As I see the subtleties of this, I am becoming less sure of who or what this is leading to.

I still believe motive is important, though groups (like the Israelis) that I thought of in the singular, may actually be many separate groups.

A group of of Israelis Securacom think they are the only actors in a criminal enterprise and then are setup by someone else.

They were caught flat footed. A few of them might have had a clue. but the terrorists came out of no where as far as they were concerned.

And the official story would get a pass for a long time, Ii is possible that the Shin Bet (Securacom) may have been afraid to ask a lot of questions because of where it might lead.

The organized crime people wouldn't know what to believe. They are setting up for an arson and terrorists hit the buildings instead?
 
The organized crime personnel would continue with the evidence removal since the arson or sabotage evidence would expose them all to capital punishment. From their point of view it was just business, they just keep doing what they were doing.

Silverstein makes a ******** of money and I pretty sure the organized crime personnel got their money, since the last time I checked Silverstein was not sleeping with the fishes.
 
Because the spontaneous collapse of the towers without being struck by planes would have aroused no suspicions at all....
 
The investigators were not on the site because they would have been in the way of search and rescue and recovery.

Most fire fighters get at least some trasining in arson investigations and would have been the first eschalon investigators, observing anything unusal in the pile. Iron workers doing the removal worker would have noticed signs of demolition.

The forensic scientists would have been better able to do their work off-site as the steel and rubble arrived at Fresh Kills.

Sulphuric acid would have been neutralized by contact with the cementic spray-on foam, producing calcium sulphate and carbon dioxide, unless massive quantities of the foam were removed.

The building engineering section would have noticed that much stuff being hauled out.

FAIL.
 
I got a fun question, who slipped the terrorists past Securacom security?

Knowing the Israelis either that man, (or woman), was incredibly well connected in Israel, or he or she has been dead for quite some time.

The original plan would have been for small scale attack that would start fires, that would go out of control, and bring the buildings down.

Casualties would be minimal and a total evacuation would have been possible.

But once the buildings are prepped the clock starts.

The fires heat can change the paste or jell from slightly corrosive to rapidly corrosive. Higher temperatures increase the chemical reactions and a well designed paste or jell might take months to cause significant damage at room temperature.
