Not really,

Do you mean that people are either soviet citizens (as in the example above) or jew, but not both?
The nazi's certainly didn't make that distiction and for the jews (whether german, dutch, french, polish or other) who lived in the area the nazi's controlled, the opinion of the nazi's was the only one that counted.

.

I struggle to see how anyone could genuinely extract that meaning from the quotation presented above.

Trying reading it again and see if you can understand it better.

I am from Australia, I am here to help.

In that case explain it to me, because I just don't see it what I have to read in this.

To summarize:

Clayton has no clue where the German Jews went.
But they went there.
And all the other Jews did, too.
To a place Clayton can't name or point to on a map.
He just knows they did.
He presents no evidence.
But it is obvious.
That the Jews from all over Europe, 5 millions and more of them, went to that place.
Which Clayton can't name.

Wherever you are from, I thought you were here to make people hopping mad and to ignore OSR 24. Now I am really confused.

Really?
Now, you have mentioned also Jews, Mr. Ambassador. This I do not understand, as according to our position, which is well known to you, the Jews are Soviet citizens.

Ambassador: I suppose that no Soviet authority would go to the length of asserting that there are no Jews - Polish citizens.

Vyshinksy (ironically): Even if there are, it is not worth while to speak of them. The whole question presented to me by you, Mr Ambassador, demands review of many other problems (Smiling) 'One should not be in a hurry with such matters' (in Russian: 'toropitsia ne sleduyet') We shall give you an answer, of course, in due time.

Still not ringing any bells?

Hmm you seem to have chimed in on Clayton_Moore's behalf. Is that right?
So... do you agree with Clayton that the German Jews went ... somewhere, and the other European Jews did, too?
If so, can YOU name that place, and what's your evidence? (Please answer the two in that order: First your theory (your words), then your evidence (link, copy&paste thingies...)).
If not, can you help us to educate Clayton and correct his errors?
Thanks.

I am not really interested in tracking down Jews who don't wish to be found - so long as they aren't beneath the sandy soil of Treblinka I have no further interest in their welfare, beyond a confidence that their fate has been happy.

However I can say that I worked a few years back with a Dutch Jewish girl of German background. I asked her about her family's experience during WW2, her grandfather was a refugee to the Netherlands from Worms and the spent the war growing potatoes in the country. His brother ended up in St Petersburg and he and his family stayed there after the war. I asked how he had actually ended up in St Petersburg and her answer was rather vague, to the point that I really have no idea how he got there.

No sorry.

Maybe I'm missing the nuance here, but I really don't see what I'm supposed to read in this.
Please talk me through it.

This didn't help. Neither me nor Clayton. Why did you chime in? What point do you have to make? That you, personally, are ignorant and uninterested?

I see you are an adept in Zen Buddhism:

The neophyte ask the Zen Master, "How long will it take me to become enlightened"

"Ten Years"

What If I try really hard ?

"Twenty Years."

Although I think the emphasis was on "try really hard", the answer is not to not try at all.

Why don't you walk him through it? You surely have an interpretation of the dialogue you posted that you can put in words? Why do you types evade and dodge so often?

Because you haven't emptied your cup yet.

A University Professor went to see Nan-in, a Zen Master, to find out more about Zen.
As their meeting continued Nan-in was pouring Tea and continued to pour even though the cup was overflowing.
The Professor cried. "Enough! No more will go in!"
Nan-in replied "Like this cup you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?"

Please cut out the cute stories. Just say what you have to say. It should be easy.

So basically, if I follow Clayton Moore's line here, the SS/Germans spent a lot of time during the war discussing (e.g. Wannsee Conference, Himmler's Poznan Speech, etc.) discussing removing, evacuating, other orwelling terms including eradicating Jews who were already gone (and apparently to the Soviet Union). Seems like they wasted a lot of time and resources on a problem that magically cleared itself up with millions of people simply emigrating elsewhere...the Soviet Union, of course, being known as a famously easy country to emmigrate to, especially under Stalin who had no fear of immigrants or foriegn ideas infiltrating his domaine.

Nominated.

Because they have no real evidence. All they have is a deep hatred of Jews.

I'm not even sure that Clayton at least has a deep hatred of Jews. With him I think it's just a deep love of conspiracy theories.
