TAM 9 is Sold Out

[Patricio Elicer]

Just read it at Facebook: "Unfortunately folks, TAM Vegas 2011 registration is now sold out. Please email [email protected] if you want to be put on a waiting list".

New record!!

[Wowbagger]

For my next April Fool's thread, I will be sure to complain that JREF is a complete sell out!

[Dumb All Over]

Wow, incredible!

[Wowbagger]

Wow, incredible!

First of all, my full user name is Wowbagger.

And yes, I will try to use my Droid Incredible to post responses more often. But, what does that have to do with anything?

(Sent from my Droid Incredible, using Tapatalk. Therefore, more typos may exist in this post than usual.)

I think Wowbagger, he was making a note on how the conference is soldout.

[TsarBomba]

This is a triumph for the JREF and the organizers. A sell-out two weeks ahead of the official event, with (apparently) over 1,500 registrants--wow. I hope that Randi, DJ and the rest of the crew see this as the enormous success that it is, and don't take the position that this means that TAM has outgrown the South Point, and should be moved to a larger venue (I heard grumblings to that effect after TAM 8). I would argue that the SP is a big part of the continued increase in TAM registrations over the past three years--it has convenience, the Del Mar, reasonable prices on food and drink, and rooms.

Keep up the good work, JREF, and please keep TAM at the South Point!

[Davidlpf]

Now I go back to the hunting and dreaming I will make it to the next TAM.

[bumlet5]

Gee, that didnt take long to be made alllllll about Wowbagger.

A critical mass of critical thinkers.

[Wowbagger]

Perhaps next year we can allow more people to attend by using the Equestrian Center, instead.

I think Wowbagger, he was making a note on how the conference is soldout.

I thought he was just reminding me to use my smart phone more often. Gosh, my ego just took a huge hit, right there.

My apologies. I really did think this was the "Wowbagger Is Incredible" thread.

TAM sold out? WOW!

[Dicon]

I, for one, will be eager to see the hoardes of TAM scalpers lining the hallways.

[Gilmar]

Sigh. So much for a last-minute trip to TAM9. Or maybe I can use my TAM8 badge and use white-out on the 8 to turn it into a 9....

[gerdbonk]

Does the Del Mar seat 1500?

[xinit]

Does the Del Mar seat 1500?

This might be a stretch, but maybe if we can fit 50 people per table....

You're not supposed to bring up this issue.

[bumlet5]

Is this something that JREF needs to put on their criteria for next year? Make sure there's a bar big enough to fit every attendee?

Meh... just setup a cash bar in the hallway...

Huh? Wha?

There's fear that if 1500 people learn they can't all fit in the bar, they'll all cancel?
