Continuation Part 2 - Discussion of the Amanda Knox case

Yes it likely could have been Meredith's own hair, from the blond highlighted sections. I believe it is pretty difficult to determine ownership of hair without the root attached for DNA testing but because we know there were plenty of other hairs from Meredith on the floor it has a good probability of being hers. What it is not is kinky and black. I wonder how that rumour started.

My guess is that wasn't the hair in question, it was the wool fiber referred to in the Richard Owen Times article of ~Nov 11, 2007 recently re-posted by Mary. However it does look like there was another hair, the one referred to in Barbie's book, thus they were talking about different items.

Well, apart from finding it incredibly easy to believe that someone might ignore their wet laundry in the washing machine, I'm with you.

Can someone put me straight on the end-of-cycle washing machine? How do we know it would have been ready to be unloaded when Meredith came in?

Sorry to belabor/expand the issue, but whatever happened to the "hair" or whatever it was that was supposedly found on/near Filomena's window?

I think it's because Amanda says in her e-mail that before leaving at around 4 p.m. Meredith either took some clothes out of the washing machine or put some in, she couldn't remember which. So since the clothes in the machine were Meredith's, it's assumed she put them in shortly before leaving for her friend's.

Of course, that could all have been a cunning plan by Captain Amanda to cloud the time of death issue by pretending Meredith put the clothes in earlier. Lucky for her Meredith hadn't used her computer or made any phone calls/texts after coming home either, so the washing machine lie went undiscovered.

School teacher Michael Wiesner is the most recent example. If you are interested you can research it yourself. There have been several others.

I know that halides1 that posts here has been threatened (elsewhere) with this tactic of writing his employer in an attempt to silence him.

Right. You want me to find your evidence.

I have evidence that Amanda is guilty, if you are interested you can research it yourself.

It sounds like it can't be used as evidence exonerating Amanda, as the start of the machine cycle doesn't have any independent source. What about the computer? Wasn't Meredith's computer one of the ones wrecked by the Perugia police?

I type this not as one doubting Amanda's innocence, but trying to gather just how many different indications there are of an attack beginning immediately after Meredith's return home.

That may be the one that was referred to in Amanda's appeal, re-posted recently. Thus perhaps it wasn't actually tested.

This is not the cartoon they showed in court. That one used real crime scene imagery and faces of real people superimposed onto the 3d figures.

Where did that one come from then?

What I found interesting is in that video the window is broken from the outside, no 'bank-shot ballistics' like Massei came up with. Does anyone know what Mignini actually argued in court? Did he pretend the 'evidence' showed they threw the rock from the inside and bounced it off the inner shutter?

It is not as if you are a newbie

Evidence?
tsig,

I was threatened once. A second time (different individual) the threat was more subtle, but still clear enough. Both are in the first Knox thread (in which you participated), and I made specific reference to them in one of the auxiliary threads, possibly in forum community. The husband of a member here was harassed.
