Continuation Part 2 - Discussion of the Amanda Knox case

I think Judge Hellmann, would want to put this case to bed before the summer brake, I agree on what you say about Guede, but I think it was the Judge who wanted Guede on the stand.
So if that is the case, Guede has no where to run, or hide, if he tells the truth, maybe the judge will just let his jail time stand, if he lies there is nothing stopping the Judge senting back his case back to the SCOI, and asking for a review, of his case.
So if the prosecution want to talk to Guede, I am sure the judge will want to know why, due to the fact it is the judge who would like to hear what he as to say.

I think time is a concern for the defence.

The defence seems to have been very successful in dismantling the "mountain" of evidence so far. ..but its taken a lot of time. Hopefully they will be allowed ample time.

So far Judge Hellman has been allowing, unlike Massei who seemed to constantly refuse and deny more information, as if in a hurry to end the trial and pass the buck. When he wouldnt allow a review of the murder weapon, something seemed very hurried with Massei.

But I'm skeptical of Hellman due to allowing Mignini in on this trial also. Girgha was quoted in a news article as never seeing this before in 30yrs or so, and left me wondering "what Hellmans reasoning was for bringing in Mignini to the Appeals?"

Rudy, what to think of him and his upcoming appearance is very difficult to guess. No one believes the date alibi, and Alessi's version posed fomr yesterday sounds much more probable.
Rudy seemed to have a habit of inviting himself to the cottage, like a obsessive compulsive behavior.

Hmmm.

He looked good. He was dressed more casual this time and he has let his hair grow back some from the May hearing. He really should button one more shirt button and I am not a fan of unbuttoned cuffs either.

Us men can never dress right, in the womans view.

:D:D:D:D:D:D

RoseMontague,

Al Jazeera has a clip with Ghirga, and Maresca. Not sure if I liked Amanda's skirt, though.

LOL. It does look like they have some video of the CCTV video during the testimony itself. I may have been wrong but I remember the order that the trial would be closed to (non court) video and cameras once the court was in session. Interesting. The shot of one of the prisoners that isn't from a video of the video appears to be taken from something like a cell phone. I wonder if some of them have some pocket recorders going as well.

Todays super-witnesses, exactly as I predicted. One ranted against the system and people listened. The baby killer got an hour break where I'm sure he was given non-prison food. The five got to see women not in uniform.

So Alessi doesn't recognize the baby he beat to death with a shovel? Maresca is right, the rest of us do. What a pitiful disgrace the defense is in this case, AK and RS should sue them for malpractice.

If RG does decide to make an appearance (heck why not, I'm sure his hellhole is not pleasant either) he'll simply say that the convicts are lying and that AK and RS are the murderers. You'll hear nothing different from him then what he wrote in that letter after Alessi's psychotic mind decided, as usual, to do something that cast attention upon himself.

.

Yes if you are in a part of the EU, you will still get, your Unemployment benefits, and that is a real fact, 10.000 is what your very good mates like to quote, you know Harry rag, and en co.
But seening you are on you last legs.
I will for give you this time
:D
Care to provide evidence I am good mates with Harry rag or anyone else? Thought not. That's ok, I will forgive you this time. In future kindly refrain from projecting your ill informed notions onto me, thanks.

You are aware that Guede has been ordered by Judge Hellmann to appear on 27 June (as a witness) ?

You are aware that no one, Judge Hellmann or God himself can force RG to actually say anything if he chooses not to?

Knox’s supporters in America, while concentrating on the DNA, do not seem to be aware of the huge body of other evidence that was given. Under Italian law a judge has to write an official report on how a verdict was reached. Judge Giancarlo Massei, who presided at the trial of Knox and Sollecito, produced a 400-page report.

This kind of thing really gets to me. How dare he suggest that Knox's supporters -- people like myself -- are "unaware" of the contents of Massei's 427-page monstrosity. Especially in view of how unaware he himself is of the defense case. Amanda Knox's appeal document is 201 pages long; Raffaele Sollecito's is 281 pages. Together, they constitute 482 pages -- not one of which Mr. Kercher appears to have read.

Unlike Mr. Kercher, I have read all of these documents (and several more).

What a joke, you haven't read it either.

Dead wrong. How dare you.

How dare me? How dare MK's dad? You're indignation is quite the bore. So you have read every word of both appeals in the original Italian or you have a professional translation of them into English. Sure....

Ha, ha, ha like anyone is going to believe that you, an anynomous Internet poster, knows more about this case then the father of the victim.

Generally, when one has to hitch their legal wagon to a psychotic baby murderer, one doesn't have a very compelling case. :)

I don't think it was taken with a cell phone as there was also video footage in that story of one of the lawyers that appears to be taken from a video projection of the proceedings. Isn't one of the convicts a police informer who's identity had to be hidden?

Alessi and Aviello's testimonies totally contradicted each other, not advancing the defense's case at all.

I have always thought that the second and third article written by John Kercher were written with help from Harry Rag, etc. The style of writing breaks from his personal feelings in the beginning to TJMK talking points toward the end. I know as a tabloid writer he is capable of writing the piece, but they just don't sound authentic. Unless he wrote that part using TJMK lists as a guide....

I had meant to go through and compare this to TJMK lists but never did.

This statement about Stefanoni is completely Harry Rag for example. There is no way this is John Kercher:
"However, the head of *forensics in Rome, Patrizia Stefanoni, who conducted the tests, is one of the most respected in Europe, if not the world."

BTW - She is so NOT respected in any way, she's incompetent and a liar.

Does it really matter? You don't think AK's parents and RS's dad have people prepping them for the media? Of course they do. Neither side are professional media folks and they want to get their side of the case out as effectively as they can. I don't fault either side for doing that.
