• Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.

I don't have time to rake through the swill that some junior sludge monster broadcasts or publishes. Just give us a kink to where he actually uses sexually-charge language and umagery with someone he knoew to be under-aged or take that stuff back to the latrine where you found it.

Swing and a miss! No, the issue is that he was having direct message conversations about anything with an underage girl. The point about the superhero tights and cape simply establishes he was doing that (and note that she quotes him using a profanity).

So we're not supposed to have any kind of conversations with underage girls? Really?!?!

Holy ****, you're right! He said ****** I mean, **** man, that's profanity and ****.

Again, that's still not evidence of sexual contact. **** isn't even ****.

EDIT: I wish that site you linked to would just release what evidence it claims to have.

EDIT2: The auto censer makes that pretty damn funny.

Patterico puts together three pretty simple parts:

1. Underaged girl links to Weiner video on the 9-11 first responders bill and calls him her true love.

2. Underaged girl quotes "her favorite congressman" (apparently from a direct message): "I came back strong. Large. In charge. Tights and cape (expletive)."

3. Weiner talked dirty to the Las Vegas blackjack dealer and used similar superhero imagery:

Some tweets from the underaged girl:

More at the link. Weiner's gonna get roasted.

I used to read Patterico quite a bit. And now I don't since discovering his fall-back tactic when losing debates is to insult people. Things like that makes one lose all respect for a person. Oh, and he was a birther. Might still be. I don't know. And really don't care one bit about anything he claims anymore.

No, you can keep right on chatting them up online. But don't be surprised if they turn out to be a little older than advertised, and working for the sheriff's department, when you go to meet them at the local Burger King.

Or Chris Hansen :-O

The thing about good blogging is that the evidence is right there in the links, so you don't have to trust someone for the facts.

And I don't recall any of the significant conservative blogs supporting the Birther nonsense. I did a quick search for Patterico Birther and found a couple of posts that don't back that up.

Palin Pandering to Birthers. (Dec 2009)

Here’s my take: Obama was born in the U.S. There is a legally valid birth certificate that is real and has been released to the media for inspection, coupled with a contemporaneous birth announcement.

I can't speak to his insulting people when he loses a debate; I don't read him that much unless he gets a Memeorandum link.

Rape, domestic assault, consorting with prostitutes for deviant sex, physical contact of a sexual nature with a minor or a disabled person. Get it on with a passed-out drunk woman and you're out of here. Get grabby with a woman who is not interested, hit the road. Badger a staff member until she gives in, go to jail.

This is not rocket science.
Oops. Totally avoided the "deviant sex" definition.

It was in the comments. He was insulting me, and carlitos to a lesser extent, for taking the position that the CoLB that Obama has was in fact the only birth certificate that Hawaii issued.

Yes, I will continue to talk to my friend's sons and daughters about how they are doing at school, what movies they like.. what they want for birthdays and etc. As immoral as you believe it is, I will continue.

I refuse to believe that adults should never talk to children. You can continue to believe that ANY conversation with children is "sexually deviant" behavior. I'll go on record as to say that there are a great many topics that are appropriate to have conversations with children with, even sexual topics.

Hard to tell there if you are being deliberately obtuse or if you really can't tell the difference between talking to your friend's sons and daughters and talking to children whose parents you have never met in private, online chats.

In private, online chats with kids whose parents you've never met before? Have fun, say hi to the guy on Dateline NBC for me.

You called?

It must have been embarrassing for you then when they released the long form.

You know very well that Hawaii stopped issuing anything other than the COLB in mid-2001, and that no one who requested a birth certificate after that date would receive anything but a COLB. Obama had to directly write to the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health and request a special exception to be made to the statutory requirements that motivated the 2001 decision in order to get the certified copy of the "long form".

Oy, this is the ultimate zombie idiocy. Cannot die, devours brains.

The State of Hawaii does not release those original birth certificates. They resisted doing so in Obama's case for as long as possible, because (and I'm speaking as a lawyer) the minute the state undermines its own official documents, expect someone to demand the "long form" in every single situation where a birth certificate is necessary (criminal, domestic, divorce, custody...little league).

Hawaii uses the short form because it's equally as effective and cheaper. That economic advantage was negated by the amount of time they had to spend dealing with idiotic birther nonsense. Donald Trump taking up the cause was the final straw, and they ultimately okayed the long form to put an end to the harrassment.

They tried to make clear that this was a one-time allowance given the extraordinary circumstances, but I promise you that they will now have to deal with criticism of the "short form" every time a lawyer thinks they can gum up the works by so doing.

ETA: to be clear, Obama initiated the request, but Hawaii agreed for the reasons above.

Let's please not start this again and focus on the issue that matters: despite Pelosi's requests, Weiner won't pull out.

I'm not convinced she actually wants him to. I think she likes democrats who can take a hard line and make a penetrating case for their message.
