The emphasis on his wife on the website is comical ("Meet Rick and Family"). Being associated with the fluid santorum must have forced to former senator to desperately display his heterosexuality.

As a general rule, if you're doing anything that requires gloves, you've graduated well past towels and should be putting down a tarp.

I think Santorum may have just beat out Sarah Palin's remarks about Paul Revere for foolishness:

Considering that veterans have their own healthcare system run by the government and paid for by taxes, I can't imagine what exactly Santorum is frothing about.

I think it's childish and inaccurate to compare the man to the substance bearing his name. Because, after all, the presence of the substance implies that somebody's getting some kind of enjoyment or benefit, and there is no evidence that Mr Santorum has ever been a source of joy or benefit to anyone.

But the presence of the substance might also imply that someone just had a very painful experience and there is plenty of evidence that Mr. Santorum has been the source of that.

I'd say the absence of the substance and the presence of one but not both of its two components would be an indication of a painful experience. The purpose of the second component is to prevent the experience from being painful.
