Merged Instinct & Immunity? / Innate immunity?

Tell that to your neutrophils and acute phase proteins.

You could keep a human in an entirely artificial environment and their liver would still produce C-reactive protein (CRP).

Evolutionary process can be very slow process and may need many generations.

Further following aspects can be relevant to topic subject;

An involuntary action is one which occurs without the conscious choice of an organism. If it occurs specifically in response to a stimulus, it will be known as a reflex.

Involuntary actions are opposite of voluntary actions that occur because of free will. Involuntary actions may or may not occur with the awareness of the organism performing it.

The autonomic nervous system (ANS or visceral nervous system) is the part of the peripheral nervous system that acts as a control system functioning largely below the level of consciousness, and controls visceral functions.[1] The ANS affects heart rate, digestion, respiration rate, salivation, perspiration, diameter of the pupils, micturition (urination), and sexual arousal. Whereas most of its actions are involuntary, some, such as breathing, work in tandem with the conscious mind.

A reflex action, also known as a reflex, is an involuntary and nearly instantaneous movement in response to a stimulus.[1] A true reflex is a behavior which is mediated via the reflex arc; this does not apply to casual uses of the term 'reflex'.

The fight-or-flight response(also called the fight-or-flight-or-freeze response, hyperarousal, or the acute stress response) was first described by Walter Bradford Cannon.[1][2][3][4][5] His theory states that animals react to threats with a general discharge of the sympathetic nervous system, priming the animal for fighting or fleeing. This response was later recognized as the first stage of a general adaptation syndrome that regulates stress responses among vertebrates and other organisms...Catecholamine hormones facilitate immediate physical reactions associated with a preparation for violent muscular action.

Stress hormones such as cortisol, GH and norepinephrine are released at periods of high stress.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stress_hormone [/quote]

Is there a guide to these "A&F" type comments that Kumar uses? His english is bad enough without this additional confusion. I just need a list of what they mean.
Sure, just ask me or Mojo or MRC_Hans. We have learned Kumar-speak over many years.

A&F = Absolute and final. To Kumar, if nothing is absolutely and finally decided, i.e. subject to discussion, then anything is possible (and in his case, anything he thinks not A&F will exist if he just thinks it so).

I think, members have not taken this topic seriously.

In another way:-

How innate immunity can be altred? Which factors can be the cause to it?

When using short world, I usually make people aware first(by mentioning small & full world). I do care that people understand those short words.

In my world, T&A is acknowledged by all persons having for the greater understandingness. If not for being the greater understanding of the self then I suggest for the asking of possibly Roxanne, or also if the possibly of Slingblade.

For the gratify you may thank me of this in the short, or to the D&M.

Don't tell about specifics but talk about commons.

Question about Innate Imunity?

Hello,

I read following good link on Innate immunity:-

http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/eid/vol5no3/weinberg.htm

I also read other links. I also tried elsewhere, but I could not get relevant information on that:-

How innate defence response can be altred--weaken or strengthen? Which factors can be responsible to it?

Can we consider stem cell system as a part of innate immunity?

Best regards.

To the extent the stem cells inhibit or prevent entirely the growth/expression of attacking cells, yes you can.

Thanks. What about other question?

Why we don't see altred innate immunity in our treatments?

It means, Environment and genetics can effect(either weakened or strengthened) Innate immunity?

Yes, but not in an individual, or in the individuals making up the current population. Only in future generations of a population. That's how evolution works.

Means, whatever unhealthful we will do, our children will suffer on account of it?

:notm Means, if your genetic makeup means that you are more likely to succumb to environmental factors such as infectious disease, you are less likely to have children.

That is how evolution works.

Ok. Do we account status of innate immunity while doing any treatment? I have not seen any refenrence like "altred, weak or strong innate immunity, neither innate immunity compromised nor its supression. Why so? Also see my new topic;
