To all,

Here is a portion of Frank Sfarzo's latest piece. He wrote, "So, the works on the knife are over. Conti & Vecchiotti are ready to examine the papers now. It seems that they agree with the defense that the documentation Stefanoni provided about the tests is not enough to prove that the DNA was really found on knife and bra clasp. They have indeed just asked the remaining rough data to be provided.
We’ll see what they will receive. IF they will receive something." highlighting mine.

If Conti and Vecchiotti are entitled to the "rough data," then why not the defense? I suspect that the data to which Frank referred includes the electronic data files.

I suspect that you are proven right on what you have been claiming for a long time. Nice.

Good for you Chris I believe the independent DNA experts are also looking for the electronic data files
Over the last year I have seen too many ignoramuses arguing with you over these files, this is your area of expertise I always knew you would be proven right in the end, that these files were vital to the defence and had been denied to them. You said in the past that when the independent experts looked for the electronic data files then and not until then would you have total faith in their independence

Frank also talked about Amanda's blood being found in her bathroom;I am curious about why he brought this up now,he also makes a statement about "these people are dangerous"who exactly was he referring to

They didn't frame them, that would have made them look less stupid and they might have gotten away with it.

The Supreme Court in Italy doesn't deal with the details of the case, it just ensures the verdict is inline with the law. Thus if the DNA 'evidence' is disqualified and the Court refuses to accept Curatolo, my guess is the already marginal case that got through Massei's court is crippled and the rest of the nonsense goes to the wayside.

Has anyone noticed no one ever mentions the name of the new prosecutor? I've seen it a few times, but cannot off the top of my head recall it. It's still Comodi or Mignini dealing with the press, it seems he wants to keep a low profile.

His name is "Giancarlo Costagliola" he is playing a blinder when this farce comes to end nobody will ever associate him with this miscarriage of justice,Pignini,Comodi and Stefanoni their names will go down in infamy

I predict she'll get a sentence reduction somewhere along the way and if Italy has their version of "time off for good behavior" I think she'll do ten all together, bringing her home around 2017, at only age 30.

I must unfortunately agree with the essence, if not the detail, of your nauseating prognosis.

There really isn't any reason they shouldn't. As soon as they let her out they're gonna boot her out of the country. They won't be the ones with an ex-con sociopath running loose. That'll be our problem.

Quadraginta,

Is it your opinion that she is guilty? a sociopath? Same questions w.r.t. Sollecito. Would you mind explaining which pieces of evidence are especially strong?

She is about to be acquitted and exonerated, some of her cowardly accusers could end up in jail themselves
Amanda Knox will become an inspirational figure, framed for a murder she had nothing to do with, her powerful enemies held all the aces but from her prison cell she has fought back to where they are scared to hear her name,Monica Napoleoni too frightened to come to court to face her Mignini probably knows now by remaining on the prosecutorial team he is digging a deeper and deeper hole for himself

I’m curious are you basing your belief on what has happened so far in the appeal? I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but so far the independent geneticist were assigned by the court; defence witnesses gave evidence whether disco’s and disco buses were running and Mr Curatolo’s testimony. I think it is premature to state what the outcome of the appeal will be either way.

It's unfortunate that she won't be required to register as a sex offender anywhere in the U.S.

Why do you use the word "unfortunate"? Are you sure she's guilty (legally and/or factually) of these crimes? Is there any conditionality to your view, or is your view as definitive and certain as it appears here?

There is enough of the detail of this case in the public domain now to reach a decision about the likely outcome of this appeal

The knife was not the murder weapon,Stefanoni's ability to store evidence seems almost as bad as her ability to test or collect evidence,at least she is consistent

Do you really believe that Curatolo would not give evidence he saw you watching the murder house,if it would leave him unhassled to sell cocaine and heroin

What piece of evidence convinces you of guilt

97% of the evidence presented by both the defense and prosecution in the original case and the appeal is not in the public domain.

Why do you use the word "unfortunate"?

It's unfortunate because the public near where she will eventually be living won't be aware that she is a murderer in a crime involving sexual assult. Probably not your problem John, she will most likely come back to the U.S. so the folks you care about in the U.K. won't be in any danger from her.

You might think so but none of us know how the judges and jury view the appeal so far.

I prefer to wait until the report is published, this hasn’t happened yet.

Do you really believe that Curatolo would not give evidence he saw you watching the murder house,if it would leave him unhassled to sell cocaine and heroin

It’s not, well not for me at least about my own conclusions but how the jury view Mr Curatolo’s testimony and whatever else is presented in the appeal.

What piece of evidence convinces you of guilt

Raffaele and Amanda’s status is convicted pending their appeal; as I have already indicated very little has been presented in the appeal, so it’s far too early for me to have a position either way.

Fair enough. What is in the public domain that was presented at trial? Amanda's testimony and some photos. That's it. What else do we have that isn't second hand? Her email alibi, RS's prison diary, the Massei Report and the motivations report on RG's trial. That's it. At least 90 witnesses testified and except for Amanda's no one who wasn't present at the trial knows exactually what they testified to. Add on top of that all the forensic and technical reports. Who on this forum has read those?

How much do you really know and how much do you think you know?

halides,

Could you help clarify something?

Luminol found the footprints. Luminol reacts to many things like blood, bleach, rust.

Then a test for TMB was done. My understanding is that TMB is used as a presumptive blood test even though it isn't a test specifically for blood.

The TMB test was negative. There wouldn't be any reason to do a specific blood test after a negative TMB result right? Wouldn't a specific blood test only be done if the TMB test was postive?

Steve Moore said in the Seattle U. panel that it was standard for luminol hits to be followed up with TMB to confirm if it was blood or not.

Well, sure it could, but first they have to complete the prison sentences for the crimes they did commit.

Fuji,

I have asked a few people and never really had a satisfactory answer on this one, but what evidence do you base your believe in their guilt on? Thanks.

New revelations: No evidence against Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito

http://blog.seattlepi.com/dempsey/2...e-against-amanda-knox-and-raffaele-sollecito/

Dempsey, Waterbury and Moore are hitting so hard now they sound like a blacksmith's shop! Bruce is laying low, but I loved his book.

I learned a lot in this case, but I knew Amanda was innocent from the start. I did have my doubts for a few moments around the time they found the 'double DNA' knife.

In a sane world, Amanda and Rafaelle now get released and the three Stooges go to jail.
