HiHo HiHo

It’s off to work we go
We’re the Perugia cop farce
And we’re a pain in the a**

HiHo HiHo

HiHo HiHo

It’s off to work we go
We’re the boys, we’re on the beat
We lie, and steal, and frame, and cheat

HiHO HiHO

HiHoooo HiHoooo

It’s off to work we goooo
We fiddled around with a bra-clasp
And no there’s hope those tests can pass
So we just filed it in a wet glass

HiHo HiHo

HiHo HiHo

It’s off to work we go
We’re bullies, and rulers, we’re super-kings
Cos we’ve got Massei’s snakey court-like thing

HiHo HiHo

Hi Ho Hi Ho

It’s off to court we go
But we’re scared to show
Now Massei’s out and Hellmans in
It’s putting our heads in a spin.

HiHo

what you said vs. what some of us heard

It would seem people are reacting to what they “think” I am saying rather than what I actually post, extraordinary!
CoulsdonUK,

Can you explain how and where the two differ?

Are you certain it is broken? Perhaps it's a bad sprain. Please substantiate your claim by posting a notarized copy of the attending physician's written diagnosis and an x-ray of your ankle clearly marked with the date and name of the patient. Thanks in advance.

Could be an internalized false contusion.:)

I reacted negatively because it seemed to me at the time that you were setting up a false dichotomy, as if being sympathetic to Amanda and Raffaele precluded being sympathetic to the Kerchers.

Some people on this forum think that the distress of the parents of Raffaele and Amanda is greater than that of the Kerchers.

Some people on this forum think it's a competition to see who is more distressed. I'm unable to see any rationality in such a view.

It is not a question of “right”, I responded to Snook1’s post which mentioned Vanessa Sollecito’s comments. My post is below where do I demand anything from Vanessa Sollecito, my question is directed to the person who posted Snook1.

You suggested that Snook1 put the question next time he speaks to Vanessa Sollecito. You claim to "identify" with the Kercher family in their distress - but it seems you don't have sufficient empathy with another family in an appalling situation, to recognise just what a crass question that would be for him to make.

I would like to add that if I posted a conversation or a comment with someone from the Kercher family, I would expect people to respond with their particular opinion and or questions.

:dig:

... and I can just hear the howls of outrage from the PMF faction, should someone suggest the equivalent of your question.

Another crass posting. I don't believe that someone who makes the comparison between bereavement and injustice has any real concern for the victims' families.

Of course, now the writing is on the wall for the court verdict, the likely release of Raffaele and Amanda will be a further trauma for the Kerchers to face - caused by the Perugia police and courts, and exacerbated by the PMF faction and their ilk.

I get the impression that some people on this forum think it is dedicated to Raffaele and Amanda that the mere mention of anything relating to Meredith Kercher or her family detracts or minimises their belief that Raffaele and Amanda innocent.

Qualifications, Knowledge,and Premature Predictions

Of course, now the writing is on the wall for the court verdict, the likely release of Raffaele and Amanda will be a further trauma for the Kerchers to face - caused by the Perugia police and courts, and exacerbated by the PMF faction and their ilk.

Your unquestionably premature, understandably prejudiced, and undoubtedly unjustified, (actually almost absurd at this point in the process) *personal prediction* about the final outcome of the Appeal is noted and allotted the iota of attention it warrants from any reasonable, informed, follower of the case who abhors and abstains from patently clueless public cheerleading.

Pardon me therefore, if I easily dismiss it and allot significantly more attention to the recent prediction of one closer to your own *ilk* , with whom I incidentally often disagree.
But to whom I acknowledge with alacrity has one heck of a lot of 'inside' information, factual knowledge, and *much* greater ability and qualifications to opine about the process and probable final outcome than yourself. (albeit in the below quote for suggested somewhat selfish motives by Judge Hellman that I still beg to respectfully disagree with).

"I have always figured Hellmann wants to get rid of Curatolo and the knife so he can concoct a guilt scenario that is less obviously ridiculous than the one Massei came up with. I hope I'm wrong." Charlie Wilkes

Charlie seems to take a more pessimistic approach than others of his "ilk", although some might think it is realistic.

I am curious as to what your prediction is?

I don't wish to rush to a quick judgment that could be in error here Chris. I have not read the book yet but I did read what was available and I did a quick "look inside" for about 10 keywords. I like the way he has the book organized by each day of the trial and then a further discussion of the evidence. My reading of those keyword quotes shows that he may be cherry picking some guilt-favorable quotes, but he is more into detail and sourcing than books like Nadeau's that I have read. I was having a discussion with Machiavelli about getting a good feel for an argument favoring guilt and this book may be the ticket for me. I don't really care where his degree came from or even if he has one, the content and style is what I will judge it by. I think this is one that I will probably read in full.

I have read two books on the case - Nadeau's and Dempsey's books. My only fault with both is the lack of documentation for their source material. Both were interesting reads. Errors appear to have been made in both books, but I don't find that unusual or done on purpose.

With this new author/book - did they attend any of the hearings in Perugia? Do you know what their source material is? Also, I'm not sure what you mean by doing a quick look inside? Do you mean from what was posted at the True Justice site?

Amazon allows you to read 10 pages or so, here the link.http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/061545626X/ref=sib_dp_ptu#reader-link

Yes,
It also lets you do a search inside. I used about 10 keywords like sex, luminol, knife, Curatolo to get some idea of the content. It will give you a few lines containing those keywords even in the parts it does not allow you to read in full.

Oh okay didn’t know that, thanks for the info.

The book says that the Postal Police show up before the 112 call is made, they radio back to say they have arrived, the washing machine was running, the suspects were caught carrying a mop and a bucket of bleach and were not expecting a police. Rather impressive that the author managed to make this many false statements are in just one paragraph of his book. :boggled:
