How about you explain why English words are so important to biblical end-times prophecies? You're assigning numbers to letters and words which didn't exist at the time the stories were written. Do you believe in lizard people too?

Actually everyone here is saved already. Only the buying and selling mark of the beast can change that.

It is more complicated than that, but basically thats it. You currently don't have real faith yet, but you will in the future and you will feel something big time. But you as everyone here, including the mockers are already saved. It is sort of like having a supernatural lottery ticket in your pocket and refusing to redeem it. For those that take the mark of the beast in the future it will like throwing that lottery ticket in the garbage.

Now to really know the power of Jesus he will help you pray and seek in the next coming weeks. Maybe dreams and visions but you will then know for sure. Then he will have you come back and tell others here. They will not believe you but you will know. Really, lets say 8 weeks max, you will know for sure. That is my prayer for you. However he is the boss, it could be less or it could be more.

Eschat - I presume that name is short for "eschatology," which tells us what all your posts are going to be about - much of your material is extra-biblical extrapolation rather than what the Bible actually says. Further, you've ignored something very important about what the New Testament actually says about when the apocalypse was to take place.

First of all, nowhere in Revelation will you find a single reference to the "antichrist." He is only referred to in some of the Johanine epistles. End-times enthusiasts have conflated him with the Beast of Revelation,; but this is extra-biblical speculation.

As to the meaning of 666, it probably refers to Nero. One thing end-times enthusiasts generally ignore is that Jesus, Paul and the author of Revelation (whichever "John" he was) all expected the world to end in their generation. Consider that the opening of Revelation identifies its prophecies as "what must soon take place."

As to Henry Kissenger being your candidate for the Antichrist / Beast, he'd better make his move sometime soon. After all, he was born in 1923, making him 88 years old. So, if he dies without doing the Antichrist / Beast thing, will you concede that you are wrong? Also, what would be a pass / fail test that you will bind yourself to as a test for your end-time views?

I'm not sure absolutely. The Antichrist will work with another man at the end. He is called the false prophet, most likely some world church leader. I agree with the point of view of the author of these excerpts. He does not say absolutely that this man is the one, but he takes him to to top of the list and says to watch him carefully.

As someone "on the fence" about this whole thing myself, Henry Kissinger as the antichrist is rather laughable. The man is now 88 years old. He is by no means "impressive" either.....

The way I heard it was that it was most likely to be 216, as the original text was intended to be read "6 times 6 times 6". Now, ""Eschat" is 336. That's a cross between 330 and 666. Take out the vowel and it's 330.
